I know Kerry's had plenty of rest, but given his documented history, I can't help but feel that he only has a finite # of pitches left... Maybe I'm just too pessimistic, but to use those pitches in a situation like this is a waste, IMO. Yes, I know I am making unprovable assumptions... it's a totally emotional reaction.

As I said in the poll thread, I still dislike Jim Edmonds, so I merely think of him as #15, and it truly does help. I'll cheer for #15.....

I don't think of him as "Jim Edmonds"; I think of him merely as "#15", it's much more palatable to me. I still dislike Jim Edmonds, but I like #15 just fine.

Well I am going to the game today... Record at games this year: 2-3 Record not at games this year: 26-5 Sorry guys, I won a contest at work and will be in the rooftops. Maybe not being physically in Wrigley will help. Let's hope so, but just in case, any chance you can be convinced to sit w/ your back towards the field of play? Of course you'd be allowed the use of a small (black & white, 13") TV.....
