  1. Man that's a lot of money. Hope he produces.
  2. Nailed it! Says the guy who would have posted the exact same stuff had he been watching the game live rather than recording it. LOL
  3. This is the correct answer. There have been underdogs in soccer who have made long Cup runs and even won it. But Leicester had to be the best team over 38 games.
  4. Doesn’t seem smart to have your starters in up.49-15 in the 4th quarter.
  5. So how exactly is Cignetti doing this? I mean, this isn't a coaching coming into a formerly great program and turning it around. Indiana is a college football doormat. Last year was the first time they've won 10 games in a season. I'm assuming they didn't drop boatloads of NIL money like Texas Tech. And yet they're a game and a half away from becoming the first FBS team since 1899 to win 16 games in a season.
  6. I know Oregon has turned it over 3 times and Indiana took advantage which makes the score look worse, but Indiana has been all over them defensively anyway and Oregon hasn't been able to stop Indiana's offense.
  7. Notre Dame was (rightfully) angry that they’d been ranked above Miami for weeks, neither team played and then Miami jumped them after the conf champ games. They were also upset Bama got thumped by Georgia but didn’t drop despite BYU getting thumped by Tech and dropping. Had Miami been ranked ahead of Notre Dame the whole time, I don’t think Notre Dame would have cared about Miami getting in. So it was less about Miami specifically and more about the process.
  8. Maybe. But that seems like an overreaction to two years. This year, I’ll give you maybe Notre Dame should have been in over Bama. But you could argue the weird ACC tiebreaker kept ND out because it enabled JMU and Tulane to both get in. But besides Notre Dame, I’m not sure there’s an argument for another team over one of the SEC teams. Maybe this whole NIL thing is a turning point. The SEC always got the benefit of the doubt because they generally were better than the other conferences. If they do continue to struggle in the playoff, they’ll likely stop getting the benefit of the doubt.
  9. I'd say that whatever is currently going on with NIL has more to do with it than the playoff format.
  10. This 4th quarter is outstanding. Would be completely absurd if Ole Miss scores to win it here.
  11. This has been a fun game.
  12. The Raiders are only the best option if you want to get a 5 year deal and then collect paychecks for 3 years after you get fired 2 years into the deal.
  13. Mike McDaniel fired today.
  14. Congrats on being slightly less pathetic than the Raiders. Not exactly the win you think it is.
  15. Well clearly it's easy to make the playoffs consistently which is why every team does it.
  16. Not the least bit surprising. Whether or not he coaches in 2026 will come down to if he wants to or not.
  17. Harbaugh out in Baltimore.
  18. Yeah, when Montana St scored right before half to make it 21-7 and they were getting the ball to start the second half, I didn't think ISU had much of a chance. MSU had scored TDs on 3 of 4 possessions so far. But ISU turned it around.
  19. Guessing that will likely end this month. Arsenal won 6 of 7 games and the only one they didn't was a 95th minute loss at Villa so I wouldn't be surprised if Arteta gets it. I know you weren't saying the December manager of the month will be fired though.
  20. Illinois St-Montana St going to over time. Great game so far.
  21. Illinois St on quite the heater right now. They got smoked in their final regular season game, which cost them a home game in the playoffs, but have won 4 straight on the road, including over No. 1 North Dakota St, to make the final. Montana St has been the third best team in FCS over the past 6 seasons. They lost in the final twice and in the semifinal to the eventual champion two other times.
  22. Amorim pulled a Conte and had a weird press conference where he was basically asking to get fired without actually asking to get fired. And just like Conte, he got his wish and got fired.
  23. This will be the first AFC title game without either Brady or Mahomes since 2010. The last 5 AFC title games have featured Mahomes (5 times), Allen (2 times), Burrow (2 times) and Jackson (1 time). Only Allen is in the playoffs and he'll have to win 2 road games to get there.
  24. Alright so which of Carolina or Pittsburgh is going to win next week? Because everybody is going to throw Houston and LA in teasers, moneyline parlays and probably pick them against the spread, which means one of them is going to lose.
  25. I definitely do but as I said before, I didn’t think either Miami or Ole Miss would be in the semis. give me three good games and I’ll be happy. Don’t really care who wins. I guess maybe not Miami since they’ve won most recently but even then it’s been 25 years. So it’s not like they won a decade ago.
