I mean for one half of the draw, when the bracket was made, I doubt many people thought either Ole Miss or Miami would be here, let alone both of them.

Well we finally got a good game. Impressive stuff from Ole Miss in the second half.

Man Indiana sure looks impressive. I mean, I know Alabama was a pretty flawed 10-3 team but still.

Favorite parts of that video were -John Harbaugh going "It's not Mike McDaniel" followed by the next shot being McDaniel saying "I'll tell you what, I know it's not Mike McDaniel". Spoilered the second one to not ruin the stat.

It is pretty stupid that the bye teams were off for 25 or 26 days. And that could have been as high as 33 days because if Texas Tech lost to BYU, Oregon probably gets the 4 seed and they would have played on Nov 29 and then Jan 1.

Heard somewhere earlier, maybe during the Mich-Tex game, that a key to this game was whether OSU's OL could hold up against Miami's defensive front. So far, they definitely aren't. They're getting a ton of pressure on Sayin.

OSU down 14-0 in the second quarter, just like we all predicted.

Not the least bit surprising on Love. To move out of the 7 seed, the Packers have to win twice and the one of the Bears/Niners/Rams have to lose twice. And with the Bears and Niners playing, one of them can’t lose out. So they’re pretty much locked in to the 7.

Looks like the Rams are the 7 seed if they lose out and the Packers win out. Bears have the tiebreaker over the Rams if the Bears lose out and both go 11-6 (assuming GB goes 11-5-1 to win the division). SF also has the tiebreaker over the Rams if both lose out.

Don’t want to overreact to 2 1/2 games but the Thunder certainly seem to have a Spurs problem.

Well since this post they've played 3 games against those good teams (two vs SA and one vs Min) and lost all three. Definitely don't expect that to continue but I think 74 wins is off the table now. They'd have to go 48-4 to get to 74, which is what the Warriors started the year they won 73.

Even if that’s not PI, which it probably was, forward progress was stopped so there’s no way that should be a TD. Guy got dragged back 4 yards.

Alright Bears fans, what do you root for (if I have this right): Bears beat Niners, Ravens beat Packers, Lions beat Vikings, Panthers beat Seahawks I believe this would leave a scenario where if the Bears beat the Lions, they’d get the 1 seed but it would also mean the Packers make the playoffs. Let’s say you know the Packers lose to the Vikings in Week 18, do you root for the Bears to get the 1 seed or the Bears to get the 2 seed but the Packers are out.

They’ll probably add a stipulation about needing to be in the top 16 or something like that. Then unless it’s super clear they should go, the committee will conveniently keep them out of the top 16 or whatever they make it.

Seattle is in control for both the division and the 1 seed. However, if the Niners win out, that would mean beating Seattle. SF has the tiebreaker over both the Rams and Seahawks so if they win out, they’ll get the division and the 1 seed.

Watched the whole 4th quarter of Spurs-Thunder. Phenomenal. Well, until the last 15 seconds when it turned into a foul fest. After SGA made a dunk with 14.9 seconds left, each team shot 6 free throws. How have we not fixed this yet? Just make a rule that in the last XX seconds, if a team is up 3, any foul on that team is a shot and the ball. Because the last 15 seconds sucked to watch after watching the rest of the 4th quarter. Or institute the Elam Ending. That would get rid of fouling on both sides and they'd be forced to just play defense.
