  1. No, a miracle would be yet to come - Slappy in the box. Touche kat. Touche.
  2. Pierre up. First and second, one out. Mike Stanton coming in.
  3. OMG!! Aramis actually got a hit. It's a miracle.
  4. Worthless Pirates and Phillies. The Reds and Brewers both came back and won.
  5. Bob and Len with the worst joke of the telecast about Jonathan Davis's "synchronized bruises"
  6. Wow. Something good happened. At it was only because Ward is an idiot.
  7. Maybe Kerry should have started another game in the minors.
  8. Wouldn't the Z billboard be scary for opposing pitchers to look at?
  9. Bob just reported that Tony Womack did in fact sign a minor league contract with the Cubs. Damian Jackson with a 2 run homerun.
  10. Ouch. 93 and 92 on the previous fastballs.
  11. <- leaves to go throw up. Just mute the TV and turn on the radio. I live in California, I don't have the radio option.
  12. According to Len, Pierre was trying to bunt the ball OVER the infielders into left field.
  13. 2 strikeouts in the first inning on only 8 pitches. I like it.
  14. It was just a matter of time. I'm not surprised in the least bit. I called this a few weeks ago.
  15. Wasn't that ruled a homerun anyway?
  16. but a lot of fun to play in in mvp baseball. Agreed. I beat one of my friends 1-0 in the fifteenth inning by hitting a walk off inside the park home run in the Polo Grounds. It was awesome and he wasn't too pleased.
  17. Blind Squirrell Met Nut. And he found the needle in the haystack.
  18. First of all, I never accused you directly of hindsight. My hindsight post was in response to goony not you so I don't know why you're all over my case. Second, with regards to Nomar, I'm sure there were some people who wanted Nomar to return but there were probably more that didn't. I like Nomar and I hope he succeeds. Ever since the Red Sox won the World Series after trading him, I've felt bad for him. My whole point was that if we would have resigned Nomar, and he got injured, there would have been numerous people that would have complained about wasting money on a guy that always gets injured. I didn't say you personally would complain so don't be accusing me of that. As for Burnitz and Jones, just look at the performance on the field. As I said before, ignore the contracts for a minute. Burnitz is absolutely horrible right now. I would much rather have Jones's production than Burnitz. Consider that Burnitz is 37 and Jones is 31 it means the Jones *could* increase his production a little bit. Unless you hook Burnitz up with Victor Conte, he's done. Jones at least could start to hit better. I'm not saying he will, but he could. I don't know where this whole rant came from and I'm not really sure why you decided to attack me when I was the second person, not the first, to bring up the hindsight argument. Maybe it was because I defended my argument so well? You tell me, because I see no reason for your rant. Also, I don't care about your relationship with CubfaninCA. Is it supposed to mean something to me that the two of you aren't pals? Because it doesn't.
