  1. Barkley said the Cardinals were going to "shock the world" last night. EDIT: As for the first part of your post, I completely agree. The Cardinals didn't play like they wanted to win the game and seemed to be playing not to lose after they got the 23-3 lead. That's what led me to ask the question "anybody see a 24-23 finish" after the Bears cut the lead to 23-10. The Cardinals didn't look good in the second half. The completely changed their game plan and that is the reason they're 1-5 this year.
  2. Too early? I am suprised that we don't have a Cubs/Reds Opening Day game thread up yet. With Fred's comment, I was going to suggest starting a Cubs 2007 opening day thread.
  3. Don't worry. ARod will be here soon enough.
  4. Holy smokes on the Green tirade. Did he really curse (say BS twice) on national television?
  5. I would just like to point out that, with this statement, you have just left yourself wide open for an inordinate amount of good-natured fun-poking. And with that statement, you've set yourself up for a lot of jokes. :lmao:
  6. I don't think A-rod is worth Ramirez and a quality pitcher. He is good but A-ram had similar numbers and he is younger. Giving up an arm as well makes it even less attractive. Subtracting a big bat and a pitcher for another big bat is not a real big upgrade. I agree. I would have to think long and hard about ARam for ARod especially if you added a pitcher into the deal.
  7. Please young jedi, hold your applause. Someday, you all might be privaledged enough to learn my ways.
  8. BTW, have I professed my insane amount of man-love for Matt Leinart yet?
  9. I've never seen a team play this horrible the whole game with 6 turnovers and be up one point with 2 minutes to go. I was on the phone with my dad (a Bears fan) during that punt return and he went absolutely crazy.
  10. I remember the roughing the kicker call and Berrian just getting bumped off his route, but what else was there? This most recent hatchet job. How can you NOT see Dockett was down when you're right in front of the pile? Was that interception return that was called back? If so, it's pretty easy to see when they freeze the frame. It's a lot harder call to make during the action. I would rather they let the play go and get it right than whistle it and then be wrong. Same goes for the Bears touchdown. I agree completely.

  12. Language. My virgin eyes have never seen such words.
  13. I remember the roughing the kicker call and Berrian just getting bumped off his route, but what else was there? I would say the reversal of the interception by the Bears in the first quarter was atrocious. To watch that replay and say there was CONCLUSIVE evidence that it was not an interception was insane. That ball hit the ground.
  14. Wow, who was that intended for? WR ran the wrong route?
  15. As long as it's the Bears on the plus side, that works for me. Correct me if I'm wrong, but there's no way for the Cardinals to win this game 24-23.
  16. Anybody else see a 24-23 finish?
  17. Good acting job by Player. Should have just been running into the kicker.
