    Once again: That game should never have been that close. Ohio State thoroughly dominated the game, and if not for Troy Smith fumbling a snap and Doug Datish completely botching another, Ohio State wins the game by 13 or 17 and we're not even having this discussion. but they did, so it was that close. As they say, if the Queen had balls... The point is, it's not like Michigan played well enough to force a rematch. OSU just played imperfectly enough to keep the game close. So where does USC look so great that they deserve #2? Their conference was weaker this year The Pac 10 was arguably the best conference in the nation this year.

Wow. colon already punched a fellow teammate in the weight room, according to reports. sounds like a class act. oh, and he's most definitely a huggy recruit. That was classy by Colon, that's for sure. Also, I've never seen a basketball player with a mohawk before. :shock: Yeah, that was awesome...the mohawk not the punch.

    What does that even mean? Bill Gates entered into a industry where he does not belong...Hes a computer guy..He has no buisness entering a industry that is run by the Japanese..There should only be Nintendo and Sony..The first XBox,complete failure,Looked like a VCR,Ugly controller,pretty poor game selection except for Halo and a few others...Its pretty much like cars to sum it up...Toyota,Honda,Mitsubishi,Are the top cars on the market,all Japanese, because they last forever,break down half as much as an american car..Then you got Gates.who is like, General Motors,producing crap that cant even compare..Bottom line, Japanese are better than us with cars and electronics..We can try, but well never overtake them,the guy is should stick to making PC's and stuff he knows, not something the japanese are masters of It sounds like you just don't like Bill Gates.

    Rainbow Six and GOW make the 360 so damn tempting tho... Not to mention Halo 3. ETA: If it was my choice, I would get the 360.

    Of course they do. Teams that win impressively are often moved ahead of teams that don't win impressively. This in turn effects the BCS. The same goes for losses. If someone beleives that Michigan didn't play as well as the score indicated, then sure, it does matter. When and where? Before you go looking don't waste your time. It is impossible. There are too many variables in play to make such an argument. Did Michigan lose spots when they barely beat Ball State or OSU when they barely beat Illinois? A ND fan could probably tell you the exact occasion(s) but I believe ND dropped in the polls one week after winning that weekend.

    Cincy is favored by 3 at home. I'll take Baltimore (+3).

    I'm surprised the Ravens are a 3 point dog. The game is in Cincy so they're basically saying it's a toss up. But hey, I don't make the lines.

    What site do you use? I've been wanting to try it out (i.e. just put a little money in and when it's gone, I'm done) and go for just a few games but don't know what to use.

    They should have a Big Ten-ACC challenge in football... then the Big Ten would show them who's boss. Let's see....we'll even leave poor Duke out of it: OSU vs. Wake Forest.....OSU UM vs. Ga. Tech.....UM Wisc vs. Va Tech....Wisc PSU vs. BC.......toss up Purdue vs Maryland........Maryland Minnesota vs. Clemson......Clemson Indiana vs. Miami......Miami Iowa vs. FSU.....toss up NU vs. Virgina....no idea MSU vs. NC State.....who cares? Illinois vs. UNC.....again.... I guess I don't know enough about the crappy ACC teams, but if you stack them up by final standings, it looks like the Big 10 is dominant at the top, and then it gets more even lower down The Wisc-VT game would probably be a tossup.

    According to ESPN, the Yankees and mets were both interested. I'm hoping that the Yankee's were unhappy about losing out Matsuzaka and decided they weren't going to be beaten again. That definitely wouldn't surprise me.

    Who would be our closer until Wood gets used to pitching every day? Howry? Probably Howry. I have a really good feeling about Wuertz as a closer though. I would go with Wuertz but I wouldn't be disappointed if Howry got the job.

    Actually, you can. There are 2 character clauses in fact that can preclude baseball players from going into the Hall of Fame. McGwire, Sosa, and Bonds should be nullified just on the basis of their Congressional testimonials alone. And Bonds shouldnt even be allowed on the ballot until the Balco mess is cleaned up totally. At the progression through the court system and with the witnesses being uncooperative, it may take another 20 years at this pace. Shockingly, there is a whole world outside the U.S. where you have to prove your innocence. Even in this country, provisions under the Patriot Act now require you to do the same thing. I just think the players should step up and stop hiding. Thats why i hate them and Rose. Admit what you did in the first place, take responsibility for your actions, and take your punishment like a man. Maybe you find redemption and maybe you dont. But its better in the long run for everyone if you make your own peace. Not that I don't believe you, because I don't know that much about the HOF, but can you either quote the clauses or post a link where I can read them? It would be greatly appreciated.

    Bowl payouts actually go to the conferences who then divy out the money equally among the members of the conference.

    Nope. There is a half roof kind of thing that covers most of the stands. The weather is going to make this game fun to watch. Does their baseball stadium? Maybe that's what I'm thinking of.

    All of those stats are reason why I think he falls short. All those stats show is that he was a completely one dimensional player. He was also one of the most feared hitters in the game for a few years.
