  1. Minor nitpicking but LSU isn't guaranteed to be in the Rose Bowl yet. If Florida goes to the title game Michigan will face USC in the Rose. Also, Oklahoma will be going to the Fiesta Bowl.
  2. I really feel sorry for Louisville. Even if they kill Wake Forest it will be like when Utah beat Pitt a couple years ago and the excuse from small conference haters was Pitt sucked (which was true). Either way nobody gave Utah credit and I don't see Louisville getting any credit if they win this game.
  3. I didn't want a rematch and have voiced that opinion since the OSU-UM game. But UM is more deserving than Florida. I just don't think Florida is that good of a team and they haven't done anything to prove to me that they could make a serious run at OSU.
  4. I have to give it up to Oklahoma. After Bomar was kicked out my expectations for them plummeted and yet they find themselves in the Fiesta Bowl as the Big 12 Champion. I won't even mention "that game" for IMB!'s sake.
  5. It's funny. I could change the word "East" to "Ten" and the statement would still be true. great. now you too. mmmk. no it would not. name me the Big East equivalents of Minnesota, Indiana, and Iowa. you cannot. why do you guys keep this up? it's really the silliest sustained argument in favor of an untennable position I can remember in all my time on this board. Yeah, I don't get that either. Ohio St. and Michigan are both really good, Wisconsin is good (that's three BCS teams right there). Are South Florida, Cincy, and Pittsburgh better than Penn St., Purdue, and Minnesota? I don't think so. It wasn't a comparison to the Big East. I was simply pointing out that the Big 10, after OSU, UM, and maybe Wisconsin (we'll find out after their bowl game), is just a bunch of crap. Obviously those three teams bring up the overall rating of the conference and they are what makes the Big 10 better than the ACC and Big 12, but the rest of the Big 10 isn't good this year. With that statement, I'm not saying the Big East is better or worse than the Big 10.
  6. then how are you watching the Big East? You realize that you can watch more than one game per day right? EDITED because I was thinking one thing and wrote another.
  7. It's funny. I could change the word "East" to "Ten" and the statement would still be true.
  8. Pat White isn't even playing for WVU. Rutgers has a chance.
  9. Rutgers? Louisville? Rutgers? Louisville? Rutgers is gonna lose. Louisville then.
  10. I DON'T CARE! AND STARTING COWAN WAS THE RIGHT DECISION! THIS IS SO EFFING AWESOME!!!!!! So you like Dorrell now?
  11. Hey Raisin, I know you're on a high right now but I have to do this. Dorrell and his staff just secured his job for the next couple years.
  12. Or punt it over his head.
  13. Now it comes down to how good does Florida look against Arkansas.
  14. Unbelievable. I can't believe USC is going down.
  15. Clear backward pass.
  16. I'm all for saying ND just isn't that good. Our opponents sure seem to want people to think that based on the crapfests that GT and USC are submitting. Maybe it's just true. ND barely beat a horrible Michigan State. They've been beated by the only good opponents. I just don't see anything to justify ND being all that good. Georgia Tech is the only decent team they've played, and GT is no great shakes. I'm not even going to dignify Michigan State. You and everyone else know the Spartans played better in the first 3 quarters of that game than most teams have played all year. It's not our fault JLS can't coach a team with a big lead, nor can he recover from a tough loss. GT I'll give you, that was a rough performance for ND, but everyone else was playing I-AA teams that week so it's hard to hate on them too much for it. Maybe Michigan State looked so well is because ND just isn't that good. Maybe, but I seriously doubt it. Moo did this in 2005 too, remember - play out of their heads against ND and crap out the rest of the season. The man makes a good point. MSU did play one of their two best games (or parts of games) of the year against ND - the other was the NW comeback. If I had to guess, I would say it was a little bit of both MSU playing better against ND and ND not being as good as expected. Michigan State was a bad football team. They had the ability to move the ball on offense but rarely did. Their defense was terrible. And it took Michigan State to go out of their way to turn the ball over for ND to win it. Right. If MSU wasn't such a terrible team, they beat ND and ND has three loses and aren't even in the BCS picture. ND isn't a great team. They may not be a terrible team, but they aren't the 12th best team in the country either. I'm not saying ND is a great team. But MSU played much better against ND than they did in virtually every other game and they did the same thing last year as well. MSU should have won that game, but they didn't.
  17. St. Louis (-6.5) New England (-13.5) San Diego (-6) San Francisco (+7) Chicago (-9) Kansas City (-5) Atlanta (+2) NY Jets (-1.5) Indianapolis (-7.5) Houston (+3) Miami (-1.5) Dallas (-3.5) Pittsburgh (-7) Denver (-3) Carolina (-3)
  18. Thanks. I could have done it but frankly, I'm too lazy.

  20. This is an ugly game so far. Very sloppy.
  21. So much for that. ETA: Correct call by the refs.
  22. UCLA pinned on the 1 yard line. Nice punt.
  23. 21 3-pointers. Wow.
  24. Anyone have spreads for tomorrow?
  25. USC wins, they play Ohio State USC loses, Florida wins, Michigan plays Ohio State USC loses, Florida loses, Michigan plays Ohio State What if Florida wins by 137 points tonight? That would probably do it. But Florida has no realistic chance of making the title game.
