  1. That’s some good stuff right there.
  2. Poor Bills. I mean I assume even if they made the FG then Mahomes would have just gone down for a FG anyway. Buffalo barely stopped them all game.
  3. That’s totally fair and understandable.
  4. Successful is not the same as good. McCarthy is successful because he was lucky to go from Favre to Rodgers to Dak. I think most would agree that having 11 years of Rodgers and only making 1 SB and only 3 NFC title games is disappointing. Especially when LaFleur comes in, wins 13 straight games 3 straight years (McCarthy won 13 games once with Rodgers and twice total) and made back to back conf title games.
  5. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. The Cowboys held on to Garrett for far too long and they're doing it again with McCarthy.
  6. Jose Mourinho once again didn't last 3 years at a team?
  7. Nimmo and KB also didn’t have two awful years like Bellinger did in 2021 and 2022. The closest each came were in 2016 for Nimmo (80 PA as a rookie) and 2020 for KB (147 PAs in the weird Covid year). Bellinger had 350 and 550 PAs in his two bad years. There’s going to be some skepticism from teams because of that. of course like you said, all it takes is one team to go above and beyond.
  8. Strictly regarding the tweet since you didn't mention this part, but it's tough to feel bad for the Rams on a missed holding/PI call when they literally made the Super Bowl due to one of the worst missed PI calls in history.
  9. I mean, yesterday was a 4-5 game which would have happened anyway. And today while yes, GB doesn’t get in with a 12 team field, they’re the team winning. It’s not like the 2 seed is demolishing the 7.
  10. So does McCarthy get fired tonight or does Jerry Jones wait until tomorrow to announce it?
  11. Also he stole Jack Grealish's haircut.
  12. This is pretty wild.
  13. Saban reportedly retiring.
  14. Much like the Bama game, I think Michigan was the better team but Washington definitely had some chances. They just didn't play well enough.
  15. Huge TD for Wash since they get the ball in the 3rd.
  16. Washington has no chance against the run. They’re in a bad spot right now.
  17. Correct. With a win they win the division. With a loss, they get in as the 7 seed (and would rematch Miami) if Tennessee beats Jacksonville and are out if Jacksonville wins that game. Pittsburgh is in if either the Bills or Jags lose.
  18. Pretty wild that if Buffalo beats Miami they’re the 2 seed but if they lose and Pittsburgh wins (and Hou-Ind doesn’t end in a tie), they’re out altogether. Usually these win and you get a home game, lose and you’re maybe out involves a team going for the 4 seed.
  19. Iowa won 4 games this year where they scored 15 points or less. I’d love to know if that’s happened at any point in the past few decades.
  20. Two games that both came down to the final play. Can't ask for much more than that.
  21. I look at it more that Alabama lost because Milroe just isn't very good throwing the ball and that really limits what you can do as an offense.
  22. I was thinking that’s a pretty crazy non-conference schedule but then when I looked up the schedule I realized Wash is a Big 10 game next year.
  23. No idea how Jota survives this horrific challenge from the goalkeeper. True credit to him for continuing to play on after this. I get that while yes, there was contact from the GKer on Jota and that because it was rule a PK on the field, it's not a clear and obvious error. But this being a PK is so stupid. Jota didn't need to go down. He wasn't knocked off balance and he wasn't impeded. He got lightly grazed, took another step and then fell. If soccer rules made sense, this would be a yellow for diving.
  24. Also boy did they get lucky that the punt returner didn’t knock that ball a couple yards further back. Wonder if UMFan survived that one.
  25. Great game. Though Michigan was done when they recovered that fumble, missed the FG and then Bama went up 7. Just didn’t think their offense would move it down the field for a TD.
