  1. I'm assuming the first two are Florida and LSU but who is the third...Auburn? There's no way Auburn is the third best team in the nation. You have a legitimate argument (not saying it's right) with saying the SEC has the top 2 but they don't have the top three.
  2. and run-on sentence . . . ND did not deserve a BCS berth this year. they played three good teams and got annihilated by all three. Funny how no matter how obvious I make it that I'm kidding, ND haters feel the need to attack the Irish anyway after kidding comments. This treatment is getting ridiculous. I think I'll say it this time so you don't have to ndistops. Under the current rules of the BCS (only 2 teams per conference allowed in the BCS) Notre Dame was the most deserving at large team after Michigan, and LSU.
  3. look at the teams out of conference schedules before you say stuff like this please. your are def wrong. Big 10 O-O-C Games (Sagarin Rankings) OSU v. 18 Texas OSU v. 40 Cincy OSU v. 84 N. Illinois OSU v. 139 BGU PSU v. 106 Akron PSU v. 13 Notre Dame PSU v. 70 Youngstown State PSU v. 165 Temple UM v. 13 Notre Dame UM v. 65 Vandy UM v. 62 Central Michigan UM v. 93 Ball State Wisc v. 139 BGU Wisc v. 157 W. Illinois Wisc. v. 120 SDSU Wisc. v. 149 Buffalo Those are just the top 4 Big Ten teams schedules, but I would say those OOC schedules blow. You are the one who is "def" wrong. By the way, the Big 10's strength of schedule for OOC games was 9th of the 11 major conferences. http://www.andersonsports.com/football/ACF_frnk.html Breaking news - pretty much every conference plays easy out of conference schedules. Welcome to major college football. Can the Pac-10 get a little respect?
  4. He does this.
  5. Lee Corso picked Florida before the game. I think Mark May did as well.
  6. Game, set, match.
  7. Tim Tebow is an animal.
  8. look at the teams out of conference schedules before you say stuff like this please. your are def wrong. Ohio State played at Texas. Michigan and Penn State played at Notre Dame. Even Minnesota played somebody good OOC when the went to Cal.
  9. It's pretty bad when your impact player has 7 rushes for 37 yards in the middle of the third quarter.
  10. Go ahead with your Big East jabs but this game is hurting the Big 10 just at least as much (if not more) as it's helping the SEC. Like Arkansas and Tennessee helped the SEC v B10 cause. Well let's see, both Arkansas and Tennessee lost very close games that weren't decided until late. Let's run over what the Big 10's top 2 teams have done in the bowls: Michigan laid a complete egg and couldn't even visualize stopping USC's passing game. The front four of Michigan that was supposed to pressure Booty the whole game and not give him time to throw? One sack. OSU's been outgained 220-65. They've looked disorganized on offense and their Heisman Trophy winning QB is looking like he should be playing at a DII school. Meanwhile, it appears their defense is still in Columbus and didn't make the trip to Arizona. And don't forget these were the two teams that a lot of people thought were the best two teams in the nation after the game they played.
  11. How many deep are you right now? Beer or money wise? Beer.
  12. How many deep are you right now?
  13. Shouldn't have been high in the first place, but there you go. When a national-TV analyst (Alvarez) actually says that the key to stopping the other team's offense is forcing them to pass the ball with a Heisman-winning QB, maybe your NFL stock is a tad iffy. I completely agree. His stock was never going to get any higher than it was in the period after OSU beat Michigan and when he won the Heisman Trophy. It had nowhere to go but down and this game is only accelerating that fall.
  14. Go ahead with your Big East jabs but this game is hurting the Big 10 just at least as much (if not more) as it's helping the SEC.
  15. Do you see that thing falling from the sky?...is it a bird?...is it a plane?...NAY!! It's Troy Smith's draft stock.
  16. Tressel might as well challenge that. If you're willing to go for it on your own 29, you might as well challenge.
  17. Huge stop for the OSU defense.
  18. Ginn has returned.
  19. This thing is not over yet.
  20. OSU's offensive line is getting manhandled.
  21. Unbelievable right now.
  22. If so, that's the Cingular All-America POY, voted on completely by fans. There are more ND fans than any other school, so you do the math. I don't think that particular award is meant to be taken very seriously. It was the Cingular All-America POY.
  23. Ginn going to the locker room.
  24. I can't believe they upheld that.
  25. He looked like he was down short.
