    I saw the name "Hill" in the thread title and thought somebody had screwed up the Cubs starter for the game.

    That's all well and good but all that shows is that the Cubs relievers allow their own runners to score rather than other pitchers' runners. The bullpen still has a 1-6 record. Not directed towards you 98, rather the writer of the article.

    Q: When was the Cubs first 4 game winning streak of 2006? A: July 27-30 when they swept the Cards in a 4 game set at Wrigley. They also had a 4 game winning streak from August 13-16. The 4 game winning streak was also the longest of the year for the Cubs.

    come on, you know it will be. It seems like it always is. Barring injury (which is entirely possible) there's no way it takes him until mid-July to break the record.

    I think it just means that we're abusing our pitchers less than any other team in the NL. I bet after 27 games last year under Dusty, the team had like TWICE the IP. So Dusty forced the team to play extra inning games all the time? :wink:

    Man U took town Man City 1-0 today to all but wrap up the Premiership title. Chelsea will now have to win out and hope Man U loses to West Ham in the final game of the year.

    all games for all teams are blacked out because of Fox every Saturday afternoon But it's not on FOX. FOX doesn't have the rights to this game so it should be televised. EDIT: Sorry, not televised, available on MLB.TV.

    :shock: at the final score of the Yankees-Mariners game. EDIT: BTW, ARod hasn't hit a HR since April 23 and got his first RBI's since April 23 in today's game.

    This is true, but it's also true that the Brewers are on pace to finish 29 games ahead of the Cubs. :shock: :shock: And they're on pace for 106 wins.
