Not to brag but I get both the ESPN2 feed and the WGN feed. All I care about is getting the WGN feed.

Hank Aaron went (36)38, (37)47, (38)34, (39)40, (40)20, (41)12 Ruth went (36)31, (37)13, (38)21, (39)17 So I wouldn't call that a major jump in production. And its definately not a major jump in production compared to Aaron. Bonds probably used steriods. Bonds also has the benefit of modern conditioning and diet. However, Bonds is a freak of nature Just like Babe Ruth and Aaron. People forget what kind of production they had. Through his 2000 season (age 35), Bonds had 4 seasons of 40+ home runs out of 15 total seasons. Starting with his 2001 season, Bonds has 4 more seasons of 40+ home runs out of 5 seasons (I'm not counting his 05 season since he only played 14 games). That's a pretty big jump in production.

Um, I think you're looking at your numbers wrong. Bonds went from hitting a home run every 12 AB's from ages 31-35 to a home run every 9 AB's from ages 36-41. How is that not a significant jump? Whereas both Ruth and Aaron hit home runs less often.

Did every one of the players have road beef waiting for them? My God that's bad, especially for a game in which they had 7 hits! A list of the ABs: 1-pitch: 10 2-pitch: 9 3-pitch: 6 4-pitch: 3 5-pitch: 2 6-pitch: 1 Yeah, when 19 of your 31 PAs see two or fewer pitchers... wow. I'm surprised that this was a team other than the Cubs. Holy cow...74 pitches in 9 innings...that's insane.

Agreed. At this point, I can only see Hendry upgrading RF and/or CF - and one of those needs could be removed in his mind if Jacque continues to hit well. He picked up Kendall so he's done at catcher and he's got Cedeno/Theriot for short.

I'm quite disappointed there wasn't even a sentence or two talking about how stupid Morgan was for the mix up and how insane it was that he screwed up a fact about his own career.

Feliz singled to center and it's 7-5 Braves. Still one out. EDIT: Got Molina to fly out to right and struck out Fred Lewis to end the game. Braves win.

The Braves are trying to choke away this game with the Giants. It's the 13th and the Braves scored 3 in the top of the inning to take a 7-4 lead. With one out the guy walked Bonds. Then, he got Klesko to hit a groundball to the first baseman who tried to get Bonds out at second except he inexplicably drilled Bonds in the middle of the back even though Bonds is ungodly slow and the fielder had a ton of time. They brought in a new pitcher who walked Aurelia (I believe) to loaded the bases. Now Feliz is up with one out and the bases loaded.
