    My editor said Morris ripped the Giants again today in addition to the article that Evil Monkey posted a link to. Not sure where he said it.

    I can't wait for Kerry to come out of the bullpen. Since I'll probably have to miss it if he pitches tomorrow, this will probably be one of the few times I'll actually go back and watch the game on MLB.TV after the fact. When he warms up, the crowd will go nuts and I can't imagine the reaction he's going to get when he gets the call from the pen and starts walking/jogging to the mound.

    I know I'm a couple days late to this party, but are you seriously arguing that the Cubs are better off with Theriot hitting singles and stealing bases than they would be with somebody else hitting doubles, triples and home runs but not stealing bases? If someone hits for power but doesn't steal bases, then opposing pitchers will pitch around said hitter and just walk him all the time and clog up the bases for the guys who can run. I don't know about you but the last thing I want is clogged bases.

    Marshall for sure and usually Hill. Though with Hill I expect the Cubs to score 0-2 runs as well.

    Did they move up or down? Up. Used to be D2. We're in the Great West with Cal Poly, Southern Utah, North Dakota State and South Dakota State.

    Its really not that bad of an idea. I really don't care which arm the relievers throw with as long as they can get both lefties and righties out.

    Man, we could use another first baseman too. I mean, we can't have him ground into a double play and a near double play in successive AB's late in the game, can we? And DeRosa flying out in the eighth? DFA him. Ramirez only getting one hit? Gone.
