  1. Fell down trying to catch an infield pop up. I don't think we've heard anything on the injury. strained calf muscle is what Len and Bob said last inning. Trying to catch a pop up? You got to be kidding me. I wish I was.
  2. Alright ARam. 3-for-3 on the day and its 6-3 Cubs.

  4. DL one of them at least and bring up Murton or Kroeger. Stick DeRosa at 1st for the next couple of games. Yeah. If both are going to be out for more than one or two days you have to DL one of them and bring somebody up.
  5. How so, by trying to step on first base? Looked to me like Morris's foot was in the middle of the bag... WOW you dont see that everyday, damn these Giants suck Their upper bodies collided. It looked like Floyd was running well within the baseline though the view on the Giants broadcast wasn't the best. It didn't look like Morris was in the baseline at all. Hmm I dont know but from what I seen it sure seemed like Morris was standing on the middle of the bag. They collided right at the bag, but oh well no big deal. Yeah, like I said, I didn't have a very good view. The Giants announcers even said it would be nice to see a right down the line view but they never showed one. Who knows. There is probably fault on both sides.

  7. 4-3 Cubs. Jones up with one out and runners on 1st and 2nd.
  8. That collision looked like it was Floyd's fault.
  9. Especially a flyball pitcher who isn't at his best today.
  10. The 2007 Giants don't know what momentum is. Good point, but Lilly looks quite hittable right now. Even by this team. The Giants have scored the second fewest runs in the majors this year. They don't know what hitting is.
  11. DP's are nice. Good thing that gaffe on the pop up didn't hurt us.
  12. Not losing anything with DeRosa coming in. I hope Ward isn't seriously hurt though.
  13. Great fielding Cubs. Lee would have had that ball easily.
  14. They just showed a replay of that Feliz grounder on the Giants broadcast. I love how after the ball got by Feliz, he put his head down for a second and must have realized "hey, Bonds is playing left today, there's no way he's coming over to field this ball so I better go get it".
  15. The good thing about Bonds in the field: Ward gets a double out of what should have been a single.
  16. Superb defense by the Giants give the Cubs a run.
  17. Good job Pedro. You looked like a Little Leaguer trying to field that thing.
  18. Way too many foul balls that inning. It better not continue. Anybody have a pitch count?
