    Agreed. And over 30 pitches at that. Now he’s unavailable tomorrow We’re going to be up 8 runs in the 8th inning tomorrow anyway so it won’t matter.

    iirc he always looked the part (for a pitcher) and just could never get one to fall Yep. I remember being shocked he was an 0-fer for his career when I first saw him swing. He’s not a good hitter by any means but I was thinking he would barely be able to handle a bat based on his line.

Two days later it’s 49% for the Cubs and 27% for the Cards.

    First night we were in Kauai a couple weeks ago was when they got 25-30 inches of rain in one day in the northern part of the island. Fortunately we were staying near the airport and weren't really planning on going to the northern part much.

    Doesn't really reflect well on Scott Brooks, and I'm sure Washington fans probably aren't that impressed with him either. They only had three years with Harden before trading him and they were good all three years. There are plenty of reasons to dislike Brooks as a coach but I can’t fault him for not winning a title or making more than one finals with that trio.

    He pretty much doesn’t have a breaking ball/off speed pitch to get guys off the FB and I think his FB also has little movement or deception. 100+ is impressive but if guys know it’s coming and don’t have to worry about a breaking pitch he’s not going to K a lot of guys. it's 102 with a ton of sink, but batters can sit on it because he has no control of his slider Makes sense. I haven't watched him much at all. I was just surprised the number was so small.
