  1. How does Hicks only strike out 4 per 9? He throws 102.
  2. Nice, Schwarber. Get a run or five in and close this thing out.
  3. Throw strikes, Jon. It's the horsefeathering pitcher.
  4. They wouldn't have been able to afford to keep that team together long term They could’ve kept Durant, Harden and Westbrook. Their owners didn’t want to pay the penalties though by re-signing Harden since it would’ve put them in the LT to extend Harden so they traded him. And it only would have been a couple million over for a year or two. They definitely could have kept all three.
  5. Can we go back and have strike 2 be retroactively called ball 4 like it should have been?
  6. Me in public: Me in my man cave: I’m happy for Gleyber. Cubs don’t win Game 5 of the WS without Chapman. But I could really use without seeing Chapman celebrating the walk-off since it bugs me no end that the Yankees got Torres for him and then re-signed him. Also don’t like seeing Chapman happy since he’s a horrible human. Just be happy with the fact that he wasn’t on the mound when the last out was made and he’ll always have to live with almost blowing the World Series. And me in my man cave is this As I watch World Series highlights.
  7. I'm hoping they win the series but since I know they won't, I can't wait to see how the Caps blow the next two games.
  8. Can you imagine if they donged here and we took the lead? I can't. I can definitely imagine it now since KB is up.
  9. So not only do the Cards walk it off against the White Sox but I don't even get to enjoy Hawk's pain because he's not calling the game? That's some [expletive]. He did all the road games last year, did he reduce his schedule even more this year? Maybe he just didn't want to go to St. Louis which is totally understandable.
  10. The Cubs lost today. That was bad. The Cubs had won 5 straight before today. That was good and fun. Let's start another one of those winning streak things. It's better that way. CUBS are 16-11 in the first half CUBS are 8-5 at home CUBS are 0-1 in May CUBS are 1-1 on Wednesday CUBS are 3-2 when Darvish starts CUBS are 3-2 against the Rockies this year CUBS are 100-97 all time against the Rockies
  11. They were down 8 games in late June 2016 and won the division with a week to play. They were down 10 in early June 2014 and won the division. Those took SF fading big time in the second half but it’s happened. Definitely a big ask though.
  12. Did the Rizzo HBP look intentional? Ron making it sound like it was on purpose.
  13. 1-2 with a walk today. That will help the numbers.
  14. Stupid Pat made me think that was a guaranteed hit.
  15. So the Raiders cut a punter (I know it's just a punter) because of personality issues but trade for a guy who got suspended for a year for repeated drug violations and got sent to the practice squad for a week because he ripped a teammate on social media and bitched about the lack of passes going his way. The second Gruden era is going to be a horsefeathering disaster.
