    Edmonton and Vegas have 88 points which leads the Pacific Division. That would put them 7th in the Atlantic, 6th in the Metro and tied for 4th in the Central.

    Not trying to be negative but I'll take the under on this. Cubs are 5-6 and they play game 60 on May 31. So that means they have to go 30-19 to get to 35-25. Definitely not impossible, but I'd be plenty happy with 29-20 and that would put them at only 8 over.

    His job is to do what the player wants. If Nico goes to him and says he wants to stay in Chicago and he wants to sign basically before the season as long as the Cubs meet some sort of minimums for years/annual salary/total money, then that's what the agent does. He can say hey, I think I can get you more if you wait and test out FA, but if that's not what the player wants, that's not what will happen. I mean, rough estimate is Nico had made around $40M through 2026 before taxes. Pretty good money. But $130M guaranteed is life changing money. Lock that in and you don't have to worry about a down year depressing your value or a major injury. He's not a pitcher so that's less likely, but still happens. We live in a world where we see a lot of people prioritize the most money they can get over everything else. But not everyone does that, and maybe Nico is one of those people.

    What you’re not impressed by someone predicting a pitcher will have elbow issues? What are you gong to tell me next, that you’re not impressed with a prediction that an NFL player will get a concussion?

    Yeah, it rarely is. Like a non contact injury in basketball or football where they grab the knee is almost always an ACL.

    Lol Italy missed out again. The Materazzi curse. Ever since they won in 2006, they got bounced in the group stage twice and missed out the next three.

    It's not really occasionally. I just reloaded this page with no ad blocker. I get a full width ad at the bottom plus a small video ad on the bottom right side. Along the right hand side under "Recent News", "Notes and Rumors" and "Recent Blogs", I get 10 different ads as I scroll. In between posts on this page, I counted 13 different ads as I scroll down.

    Duke blowing a game it had no business losing against an inferior team is one of my new favorite March traditions.

    I get this is more referencing football, but can the Big 10 win a basketball title before we claim they’re dominating it? I mean, it was only last year that the SEC had two F4 and 4 of the E8 teams.
