First half of a must win game against the 20th place club and Spurs have 5 shots, 0 on goal, and a whopping 0.12 xG. Solid work!

Was hoping Spurs would have a chance to catch Forest since they still play at Chelsea, at ManU and vs Bournemouth (competing for a European spot), but today ended that hope. Pretty much the final stand for Spurs tomorrow. If you can't beat Wolves, just pack it in and prep for the Championship. You're not winning at Chelsea. They'll probably fail to win every remaining game except for the Spurs game. And you're not winning at Villa. That means they have to win at least two of at Wolves, vs Leeds and vs. Everton. And while I'm well aware they could win tomorrow, in now way should Spurs be -145 to win that game while Wolves are +360. Sure, Wolves have nothing to play for, but they've had nothing to play for since December. In their last 7 games, they tied Arsenal, beat Liverpool and beat Villa all at home. Meanwhile Spurs haven't won since Dec 28. Like I said, Spurs could win, but those odds are out of whack.

https://www.tangotiger.net/re24.html In the scenario the Mets were in, it seems that adding baserunners doesn't really change the Cubs odds of scoring in that inning. Walking Nico would theoretically decrease the Cubs chances of scoring, though that would require the Mets to actually want to keep him on 1st. Bases loaded 1 out is basically the same as runner on first with one out, but then it comes down to matchups and how much faith you have in your pitcher to throw strikes. It's Kimbrel, so you probably shouldn't feel great about that.

Would be 1st place in the AL West too. Before today, all 5 AL West teams were at or below .500.
