  1. Rollins to the Dodgers is apparently done.
  2. Lovett would be a nice consolation to missing out on Brunson and Evans. Sounds like he'll wait until spring to decide. I'm not even going to bother getting my hopes up for Bragg. consolation? i'm not so sure. this is him recently at the morgan park open gym. holy [expletive]. yeah, i don't know what to make of him. i feel like there's a decent chance he gets eaten alive once he gets to college, but there's also a chance he's the second coming of frankie williams. i feel like evans and brunson are much safer bets, though. evans and brunson don't have dribbles like that. some dude said that's 300 palmings? lol. college refs don't call that unless you stop the ball and hold it or dribble over your head, those are just crossovers, watch a pro game, you'll see crossovers. those guys he was playing against are mostly d1 prospects themselves, that was Mike Irvin you saw on the sidelines there. no, but he's pretty small and seemed to favor his left side a ton. i'll take him on the roster without thinking twice, but i don't think he's without risk (obviously no high schoolers are, but i'm mostly speaking relative to brunson and evans).

  5. I found 7. Honus Wagner played his first 3 seasons for the Louisville Colonels pre-1900, and then his team basically merged with the Pittsburgh franchise, where he played the rest of his career, but I guess you have to consider that playing for 2 teams, so he doesn't count as an 8th guy. I was missing who I was somehow convinced also spent time with the Twins. ETA: So I basically decided that it had to be Honus Wagner. That was Molitor. Ah, yep. That's what I was thinking. Thanks.

  7. Can't get the website to work, is the 92-93 IU team on there? That team was so loaded. Calbert Cheaney won every POTY award that year, and the team also had 3 other eventual All-Americans and players among the top 10 in scoring in school history (Alan Henderson, Damon Bailey, Brian Evans). Plus Greg Graham, who put up 16.5 per game that year too. Nah, 1975 IU though. Yeah, that makes sense. Looks like 1 team per school and that team was definitely a contender. If not for an injury, they probably would have won back-to-back titles. Plus the 92-93 IU team had a couple really good teams that were better than them, though it was the most talented IU team ever. I thought so at first glance as well, but UNC, Duke and KU each have two teams.
  8. I cheated and still only came up with 6.

  10. Yeah, that's extremely embarrassing.
  11. me too, though we keep falling on 247 with JE. As much as i'd love to have Evans, Thomas is much more important to this class now that Coleman is in the fold. Although if Thomas commits, I can't see how Evans wouldn't want to follow suit.
  12. I'm feeling really good about our chances with Thomas.
  13. Would have been especially great back in the day. how many scholarships do we still have open? With Abrams coming back for another year, just one, but they'll go over if they have to.
  14. Coleman and Jordan in the same lineup should be fun.
  15. I've got a pretty well-connected buddy that corroborated the Jalen Coleman rumor, and Groce is definitely down in Texas with Evans today. I hadn't heard the part about Thomas being present as well.
  16. Why does this happen when I do a search for Kyle Hendricks? This can't be a good sign. http://i.imgur.com/ZYmqbX0.png
  17. I don't doubt that some of these insiders have info, but I've learned to take it with a huge grain of salt. By the time it makes it's way to the message boards, all the inside info has been interpreted by several people with UI bias.
  18. He's calling out the Cubs organization for Olt playing at KC against the Brewers affiliate too. Tom, your bitter is showing. LOL wut Olt is playing A ball? He's on a rehab assignment.
  19. thanks for the continuous updates on this. appreciate all your work.
  20. i hope he runs meh. that works too.
  21. Nothing to show for it, but some really good plate appearances this inning.
  22. I hope Castro hits a home run today and admires the [expletive] out of it.
  23. Repeatedly? Please find me all of the long singles that would have been doubles if he hadn't wasted time admiring them. http://www.fangraphs.com/spraycharts.aspx?playerid=4579&position=SS&type=battedball&pid2=4579&ss1=2014&se1=2014&ss2=2014&se2=2014&cht1=hangtime&cht2=hittype&vs1=ALL&vs2=ALL
  24. Huh? Is he invisible to the camera or something? When he screws up it's on TV just like Castro's. Yep, he's on TV all right. But again, they're not nearly as obvious. Rizzo's never been isolated on camera making his mistakes like Starlin. Rizzo: http://img3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20110304192215/arresteddevelopment/images/d/d0/Buster_at_the_Milford_School.JPG
