    LOL is right, I would certainly not trade outfields with the Cardinals and it seems Ben Zobrist no longer exists. (Not sure about trading starting rotations with them either)

    Man the BFIB are all over fowler. His defense has looked bad from what little I've seen of him this year.

    This is where I am too. Liked the trade on its face, starting to really love it. I was excited for Eloy to become a prodigious dong-maker on the north side but getting Q on that contract really opens up a lot of options (on top of being a very good pitcher). As long as he stays relatively healthy I think we made out very well here.

    Yeah that was a mini-mini-mini WS Game 7 replica. I enjoyed it, hated it, dreaded it, relief.

    I realize that, I'm lamenting All in all, we lose on Pan/Saad and tread water on Hammer/Murphy Actually, Pan/Saad is the better deal. We get a younger player that can play both directions with more guaranteed years, and we get a backup goalie. Yeah I like this deal a lot more than the Hjammer one. Saad is a beast two-way player and I hope DeBrincat can fill in for Panarin adequately.

    Holy hell there's a lot going on here. Love getting Saad back. The hawks need a more physical presence, especially with Hossa gone. Also locked up longer than Panarin. Don't know much about the Hjammer trade. Gonna miss that guy. I think a shakeup was necessary, too bad they can't unload Seabrook and that ALBATROSS of a contract. Interested to see how this all plays out.

    it seemed like the biggest ovation was when he got his ring. The ovation to lead off the game was noticeable but subdued ...or at least it seemed that way on TV Ok cool, that makes sense. I saw the pics on BFIB twitter, good stuff!

    Great to finally get a win! I assume Dex got a huge standing ovation before his leadoff bomb? Looked like a great day to be at Wrigley.

    That would be awesome but I expect him to either stay with Washington or sign with the Yankees.
