Jim McMahon played 2 years in Green Bay and he's not exactly putting his life at risk when he shows up to Wrigley Field or any other Chicago establishments. They aren't the same player, but Favre obviously built up a lot more equity in Green Bay than McMahon did in Chicago. He hasn't said anything negative about the fans, just guy who ran him out of town, just like a lot of ex-Bears bad mouthed the McCaskeys. Then again, unlike McMahon, Favre shouldn't be in a position where he as to make appearances in Wisconsin to make a living. Time will absolutely heal the wounds. There will be tons of fans at his HOF induction, and he'll be worshipped whenever he walks into Lambau. I don't know man. Do you have any Packer fan friends? I mean some of these guys already hate him with a passion. I was surprised at how quickly and fully they turned on him. If he goes back into Lambeau, it'll be out of spite -- he's going to Minny to stab at the Packers. One last hurrah to show them how wrong they are. I mean it's a long, sharp drop from where he was 2 years ago. His first move split the Packer fan base in half. I think this one will destroy any he has left.
