  1. Is it just me or do Jets receivers love to drop the ball?
  2. why? he's a part of the team and probably cared about the outcome of the game. what are they going to do, have him sit in the locker room with his thumb up his butt watching the game by himself? well I don't necessarilly agree with it. But I'll just tell you that tomlinson did the same exact thing with a much better track record with Sd and a bunch f idiots never ever forgave him. perception is reality and all that dumb [expletive]. Jay will have to fight a bunch of stupid pr angles next season book it Note to Bears management: be sure to cart players off the field. A little fake blood wouldn't hurt either.
  3. That added exactly zero context. Sure does. Rivers had a different injury and had more than halftime to heal up and get surgery. I see what you did there. When you put it that way....... 8-)
  4. That added exactly zero context.
  5. Remember Obama. He said we need to try to be more civil to each other. *struggles to keep himself under control*
  6. The thing is, he did come back into the game. He was going to be pulled at half time and came in for the first drive and then left. What does that say? I don't know, and I can't answer that question. I'm just purely spectulating here. It could be that the knee was very seriously injured. Or maybe it could be that Cutler didn't want to play. I don't know. That's BS, no offense but it is. You just directly compared Jay Cutler to Jeff George in the worst possible way. You're not speculating. You're casting aspersions.
  7. The trouble is those sportswriters set the tone of the discussion that will happen all offseason long and beyond. Yes, we can and will ignore it to the best of our ability, but it's tiring and frustrating.
  8. I don't know, man. The mind of a meatball isn't really capable of considering more than one thing at once.
  9. Better watch out. I hear that sports expert board is prone to revoking those sport expert cards.
  10. Not sure what it is with Maynard & postseason games. But for me it's simply a matter of age. He's old now, and there's got to be a decent younger leg out there who can outperform him.
  11. Please Chicago, don't go with the usual routine of eating your own after a loss in a big game. This was a good season. An unexpectedly good season. And there's plenty of reason to be optimistic about next year. Just go with that. That's the real story, IMHO.
  12. Well that's it. Damn.
  13. 4th and 1. If you ever needed a short yardage offense, this is the play.
  14. What a punt. Now we'll get the full GB defense. No prevent.
  15. Looked like the expected Bennett to just go out of bounds. Surprise.
  16. Wow, that was quick. Nicely done, sheesh.
  17. That was a heck of a defensive call by Capers. Counted on Hanie to not be able to read that. Not sure Cutler would have either. It was a great defensive call.
  18. Yeah, I was actually happy it was the 10 this time rather than the 2 or the 1. He's been very good.
  19. I understand that it was a grey area, but the players need to understand that, intentional or not, you just cannot lead with your helemt, period. Don't want to get penalized and fined? Hit lower next time. It keeps happening over & over because it isn't just a matter of defenders "needing to understand."
  20. That was a hard hit by Peppers, a great hit. He didn't launch himself at the helmet. But the force of his movement took his helmet into Rodgers' helmet. I understand protecting the QB, but plays like that I just don't think there's anything that a defender can do. They need to make hard hits like that -- some of these guys it's the difference between working in the NFL or being shuffled off to their 2nd career. I don't know the answer but it's really difficult to expect defenders to not hit offensive players.
  21. It is. It just takes these bozo refs a little while to comprehend simple concepts.
  22. I don't know how Collins ever rises above Hanie on the depth chart, other than salary -- which shouldn't matter in his case. But whatever.
  23. Oh how is he not in the end zone there!
  24. Oh wow, I didn't realize that. It's Hanie or nothing now.
