Things not starting out very promising for the Steelers. They blew a chance at a big turnover on ST earlier. They can't cover GB's 3rd and 4th WR options, and the Packers know it. Now they just blew a good return on a penalty.

Nope; I don't believe any punters are. No full time punters. Actually I was thinking of Blanda but he was a PK/QB. Yale Lary is in the HOF, he was a S/P (strange combo -- but a different era). CONGRATS to Dent -- definitely well-deserved. You can't have a conversation about the dominance of that defense without talking about Richard Dent.

I don't even know because she turned every damn note into an opportunity to show off how she can doing a vocal 12-note scale. It was horrible. And she looked like a cheap whore.

He's out, as is Smith. i assume that some nfl players and prominent members of the media will question their toughness and say that they should play through their injuries, correct? after all, this is the freakin super bowl!!! or does that standard only exist for quarterbacks? I must have missed the wild horses, or the nuclear holocaust. As I recall those the only acceptable excuses for missing games.

I post on the Packers board on RealGM. Plus I don't want to disturb the food talk. I think erik ate himself after looking at the pictures of bacon on the last page. I thought maybe you tried to get down to Dallas and got stuck in O'Hare during the storm.

The lack of excited fan posts from the plethora of Packer fans who are members of this board is thoroughly disappointing. I'm beginning to think that you all aren't really Packer fans, just pretending to be to annoy the Bear fans. YOU ARE IN THE SUPERBOWL.

I don't believe it, but this statement of yours suggests something that isn't true. It's quite possible for a lesser QB to perform better for 2 quarters, yet still not be the better starting QB solution for a team (or even for the next week).

it represents our first All-Star starter since Jordan, I believe. I think it's the best looking uni I've ever seen :)

It's nice to think of the possibilities of this team + Noah. There might be a bit of a transition period since he's been gone for so long and will probably be a little rusty. But there should be enough time to adjust. I'm pretty excited right now. The only thing I'm worried about is Rose's level of stress/wear. Everyone wants him strong for the playoff run. Does that mean we give him more bench time and potentially sacrifice a few regular season wins?

I know this is an interesting study, but from my perspective I want playoff appearances, because they = shot at a title. Non playoff teams are no fun to be a fan of, regardless of how much bang for the buck they're getting. I'd rather be the Yankees than the Pirates any day. I don't care if they're inefficient. And nor should I.
