  1. Things I missed while watching the Bears: Jacksonville really should sell the team to someone in LA and just leave it at that. PIT lost at home to TEN. Here's to hoping they suck again this year. More PIT suckage makes me happier.
  2. They gave up 21 points though. It's not like the end result was a score-fest. I didn't like much of what I saw from the D Line, but in the end it wasn't a disaster.
  3. Maybe it's a matter of expectations, but I was thrilled with Long. I expected him to get beat a lot more. All things considered, I feel like today was a best-case scenario for him, with the latter part of the game being stronger -- suggesting he's adjusting and learning as he goes.
  4. That was never really in question you silly loon. You're a funny guy. I like you.
  5. Wow, Bucs all-time boneheaded play.
  6. LOL. "The factory of sadness starts to shed tears again." I might have to use that one.
  7. Did you notice the longer plays to Marshall and Forte? You were awful quiet in the fourth quarter. I did. Had a guest come over, couldn't post. If they can just do *that*, everything will be just fine. I'm not asking for 50 yard bombs every play. Just let Cutler's scrambling and downfield ability be part of the mix.
  8. I think that's the closest I've ever been on a score prediction.
  9. HahHAHH. Thanks for handing us the game, you idiots.
  10. Martellus early returns are very, very good.
  11. Wow, I was thinking they should go for it. Gould is pretty damn amazing.
  12. LOL, thank you very much.
  13. Oh shut up. I never said anything close.
  14. Obviously.
  15. No. Yes. Why would you hire an offensive coach and then ask him to run an offense that doesn't suit what he's done with success in his career? I mean yeah, tweak it to the team you are playing but not completely change the offense. So you work in some deeper throws into your precious "west coast offense." Like pretty much every other team is doing. What I've seen so far is nothing but outlet passes and short crap. It's not going to cut it, period.
  16. What? Not what you've seen so far. Not even close.
  17. Well, then it's going to become a dink & dunk thing, and Cutler will be moved out, and Trestman will fail.
  18. What were your expectations for the first game with a new coach, offense and 2 rookie Olineman? Below expectations? Sure. But way below? I expected some struggles at least for the first quarter of the season. Much more pushing the ball downfield. You've got arguable the strongest arm in the league. I wouldnt expect a ton, isn't this more of a west coast offense? Also the Bengals have an elite pass rush, so I wasn't expecting a ton of deep drops and passes downfield I don't care what the hell people want to call this offense. Trestman needs to design an offense that pushes the ball downfield, or he will fail. Kind of like that right there, unfortunately the other team.

  20. Absolutely no pressure at all.
  21. Yeah, the offense isn't very impressive. Way below expectations.
  22. Oh he's not down by contact either. Fantastic by Tillman.
  23. Soft defense.
  24. When you blow a huge opportunity like that fumble, you can just feel the bad things coming on the other side. Stop these fools, dammit.
