  1. That was disturbing. Nice adjustments by Cincy. They ran it on the Bears way too effectively. No pressure of any sort, quick passes. Efficient catching. Green beat Tillman on two plays. Better not see much more of that today.
  2. Perfection is fun to watch.
  3. So far so good. Get ready for a few adjustments from Cincy now... Haven't seen much of Mr. Green
  4. I think it should. He's got it all the way. There's movement but it looks like the ball is moving with his hands, meaning he has it.
  5. Oh that will be challenged, of course. Please hold up.
  6. He was acquired to catch. And he actually does catch. Interesting concept, this thing.
  7. Dang it, don't really want just a FG try.
  8. No pretty much any contact turns into a 'down by contact' call, he was hit, so I think its legit. Sucks though Yeah, sucks. But by rule he's down.
  9. See, I think that's a good catch. Touched the ground but he had complete control of it all the way.
  10. What are you talking about? It'll be over in 3 hours so gooney can get to all his taped shows. It's perfect.
  11. It would have been so much more fun if that play mattered.
  12. Maybe I'm an NFL nerd, but that's a pretty easy quiz. And to your point, pretty crazy how many starting QB's are relatively recent draft picks. There was a dearth of QB talent, sans Brady and Manning, in the early-mid 2000's. Let's take a look at those 15 QBs who will start, who were drafted '10 or later: Newton Griffin *Ponder *Manuel *Gabbert Kaepernick *Pryor Bradford *Weeden Luck *Tannehill Dalton *Locker *Smith Wilson The ones with * by them are those who I'm guessing will fail in the NFL, ultimately. I'd say that 50% failure rate is going to continue. edit: forgot Bradford.
  13. Safe to say football player IQs haven't gone up.
  14. just put the footballs in a humidor.
  15. Holy complete collapses, batman.
  16. Please just get rid of these stupid "challenges" and just get the damn calls right.
  17. Wouldn't have needed replay in the first place if refs just demonstrated basic skills.
  18. Denver fans are always so over-the-top incredulous whenever the slightest thing goes against the Broncos. It's like that town genuinely believes they are owed victories by virtue of the fact that their team is playing at home.
  19. they'd rather continue celebrating last season as long as possible. this season won't turn out so well
  20. lol, the nfl blunders their big opening. how about letting the ravens know the game is about to start?
  21. what a bunch of wimps, this is football. start playing. i wish to be entertained.
  22. Some of this depends on what is meant by "watching the game." Unless it's the Bears, when I say I'm watching a football game, that means it is on the TV and the volume is up. But I'm very likely doing any number of other things and just catching big plays, or whatever. If the game is close down the stretch, I'll drop what I'm doing and focus on it. That's probably what, 30 minutes of undivided attention. So they could put a game on every day of the week if they want. It doesn't impact my time really, at all.
  23. yeah, i knew part of your reasoning was due to the other shows that you watch. fair enough. i'm not really watching anything right now other than sports and news.
  24. I'll be at this one. Yeah. Hey, the tix are 40 yard line, can't complain about that.
  25. ....because they killed the Monday games with some of the most bizarre, horrible booths ever.
