  1. I read this three times before I comprehended what was going on, but I concur, Kesler is a jagweed. Kessel doesn't seem like a bad dude at all, but I love the guy, as I'm viewing things through Pens shaded glasses.
  2. Kessel went to minnesota though haha
  3. I peruse this forum equally on my phone and on my pc. When I'm on my phone I use tapatalk. It's pretty easy to just switch off the tapatalk signature, and personally it annoys me when I see it on my own posts.
  4. Congrats! Is Mr. Raisin doing well too?
  5. I currently work at a place that makes chicago dogs and italian beefs in Maryland. Beefs should win forever. Also, I went to school at the University of Pittsburgh and have to agree, Primanti Bros kinda sucks. It's just really peppery coleslaw and fries on a plain ass sandwich.
  6. Alright Cubs, forget about everything else and go crush balls at Coors. Today we have Jake on the hill, and I'm feeling hopeful about his chances of going deep into this game. Our bullpen could really use the rest, so get it done Jake. His counterpart will be reigning NL Rookie of the Month, Antonio Senzatela. Guy has been pretty legit for the Rockies this far, but personally, I think he could afford to be knocked down a rung or two, so here is a babyface picture of him without facial hair. http://www.milb.com/images/622608/t573/180x270/622608.jpg It looks like thunderstorms in Denver around game-time, so I dunno if they'll get this one in, but in the omniscient words of Kevin Costner, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.. I'll only accept two of those outcomes. Go win Cubs.
  7. Javy forever. This exciting young guy was on the team that finally did it, keep him around til he is 60. He completely won me over last year mid-late in the year when he hit a big moment late game HR. Before he hit it I said to my tv, "Javy if you do it you're my new favorite!" He did it, so I held up my end of the bargain and ordered a Javy jersey that night.
  8. Reminds me of Lebron, in the sense that he is so SO good so consistently that it becomes ho-hum to watch him perform like an MVP and you only really take note if something is going poorly.
  9. It's an absolutely gorgeous day here in Frederick. I just got off work so I'm certainly not gonna make the first of the Pelicans' doubleheader, but I'm thinking about going to game 2. It's only debatable because Eloy is AWOL.
  10. Someone called it. Well played, whoever that was.
  11. Ahaha I hadn't thought of that, but yeah, I think more of Happ and Candelario than I do of La Stella.
  12. They rode him to one Stanley Cup forever ago, and Fleury has always struck me as being a guy whose performance issues after that were mental in nature. Maybe having the job thrust upon him was a good thing, didn't have time to psyche himself out.
  13. Man it would be cool if Butler stays sharp at AAA and could be poised as a viable, desirable option for the Cubs to get on a decent mid-level contract for the next few years.
  14. https://streamable.com/dt46y
  15. I saw Burks twice last year. Seemed pretty solid, hit the ball well and made a few decent plays in the outfield.
  16. The Pens are looking like they might have gotten hot at the right time again. I think the Jackets can win 1 here, but I can't see them taking this series much further than 5. Pretty excited about them playing either the Caps or the Leafs in the next round. I'll probably go to one of the games in DC if its Pens-Caps.
  17. Needles are probably a lot harder to rationalize to oneself than a handful of pills. But who am I kidding, these guys (the type to take PED's) don't care enough to have to rationalize anything to themselves.
  18. Oh certainly keep it in it's own thread. I only posted it in general cause I'm on my phone on tapatalk and I don't like starting new threads.
  19. Holy.. Starling Marte suspended 80 games for testing positive for PED's. https://www.google.com/amp/www.thescore.com/mlb/news/1283332/amp
  20. Harrison and Cervelli are such gigantic toolbags. The level of arrogance from a team that consistently manages to be just good enough to be the first team out from the playoffs is hysterical.
  21. Jake just hates the horsefeathering Pirates, doesn't he?
