  1. I didnt see one. He got the last out one an offspeed pitch that didnt look like a curve.
  2. Is he throwing anything else for strikes? If he doesn't get any off speed or breaking pitches over the fastball is gonna get killed. He was pretty much just throwing fastballs in the first. I only saw a few off speed pitches.
  3. Sure, a lot of people called him a douchebag. He was riding a motorcyle even more careless.
  4. Its weird it wasnt in park. Dudes lucky somebody came along otherwise hed have crashed into something eventually.
  5. This looks like the cable company's are penalized because they have a larger customer base than DTV. "The DirecTV agreement gives the satellite-television provider exclusive television rights to the Extra Innings package unless another entity matches all of the conditions of the agreement by month's end. The deal calls for the Baseball Channel to be made available to all of its customers; iN Demand's offer, however, limited that number to match only that of DirecTV's customers." For this condition it sounds like they are 'matching' it to me. Wonder what the other conditions they failed to match were.
  6. Hes still throwing softer than marquis on the same gun. It may be off but its not 10 mph off.
  7. Didn't he used to throw the ball MUCH MUCH harder than that? Yes he was at 95-97 last year. a lot of 97s. he sucked at those numbers, think what he does at mid 80's. He topped out at 87 today.
  8. Novoa's velocity sucks. Hes at 84-86mph on his fastball and its everywhere.
  9. Helton's goatee is huge. Ken Caminiti/David Wells huge.
  10. Your chips are Cuddyer and one of your 3 closers. I like to have 2 top tier closers like you have and then get a third like a Todd Jones. RP are good trading chip from my experience. 1 RP isnt enough so anybody that has that is a good parnter. Dangle Jones all over the place. Cuddyer or Baldelli(this would be my first choice) for a SP to the 10SP team. You'll lose some depth but you probably have too much on the hitters side anyway. Find a way to get Aramis before someone else does. You have plenty of power so maybe including Carlos Lee in the deal and asking for Patterson in return might work to bump up your SB a little more. You need some more SB. Does anybody have a crappy C? If so think of trading McCann or Barrett, i think you will get more in return from McCann but Barrett is just as good starter for you. Having a messed up league could be fun. In a live draft league people like who they draft and its harder to find trading partners.
  11. Good luck! Hope you dont get TOO many votes but just enough.
  12. Seriously. He's definitely overpaid. But overrated? I've never heard him praised as anything more than a good player, so, unless there's some corner of the football world rating him as HOF worthy, then I'm not sure how he could be overrated. Archuleta 'blew up' at the combine. His combine numbers were phenominal and he shot up the charts. That created a lot of 'buzz' around him. He didnt live up the 'buzz', thus it could be said he was overrated. Being the highest paid safety doesnt help alleviate the overrated label either. I think its a combination of these two things. Onto the Bears. Isnt it actually a good thing other teams are looking at the Bears role players as FA acquistions and paying them good $. Heck i remember in the in late Ditka/Wanny/early Jauron days that not even the Bears FA starters were worth a look for other teams. Its good.
  13. not me well humph! try going to the mlb technical troubleshooting help page. they have some things for you media player that might improve your feed. it seemed to help yesterday a lot for me. today is good.
  14. Purdue is a real up and coming team. They play awesome defense and Painter has an amazing recruiting class coming in. If those guys can maintain the team defense but raise the offense to another level, watch out Big Ten teams. And good for Tim Floyd. Dude had a rough rough time in Chicago, nice to seem him bounce back on his feet and be successful again.
  15. The part abou Jim Leyland pisses me off the most. What an ass. There are a lot of guys in this game that respect and love Jim Leyland, its flat out ridiculous to say something like that about him.
  16. Salukis with a nice win today. Heard Lowery being mentioned as a name for UM. 3 former SIU coaches in the big ten. hmmm
  17. That was completely expected. The only one who really played poorly throughout the tournament was Wisconsin (and somewhat Illinois). Purdue, Indiana, and Michigan State showed something by all winning their first round games and playing well in their second round games-they just happened to run into Florida, UCLA, and UNC respectively. I think the Big 10 showed with their performance that they did deserve all their bids and they were seeded correctly. agreed and if we would have played basketball the last 5 minutes instead of keep away and prevent defense we would have really done well. We let the big ten down. Not even the staunchiest big ten supporter would of said this would be a successful tournament. Purdue/IU/MSU did well for themselves and got moral victories in the 2nd round but still they lost. Wiscy is the biggest disappointement. Hell OSU almost lost.
  18. did eyre say he lost weight? yeah right. maybe 2lbs
  19. i got my puter to get the mlb.tv and yes...hudler is terrible.
  20. The bandwidth for our game is up? yes.
