Seriously. He's definitely overpaid. But overrated? I've never heard him praised as anything more than a good player, so, unless there's some corner of the football world rating him as HOF worthy, then I'm not sure how he could be overrated. Archuleta 'blew up' at the combine. His combine numbers were phenominal and he shot up the charts. That created a lot of 'buzz' around him. He didnt live up the 'buzz', thus it could be said he was overrated. Being the highest paid safety doesnt help alleviate the overrated label either. I think its a combination of these two things. Onto the Bears. Isnt it actually a good thing other teams are looking at the Bears role players as FA acquistions and paying them good $. Heck i remember in the in late Ditka/Wanny/early Jauron days that not even the Bears FA starters were worth a look for other teams. Its good.
