    Not to mention, according to Tim Duncan---who btw has earned the right to be given the benefit of the doubt---Joey Crawford was trying to goat Tim Duncan into a fight. And IMO, if that is true, then Crawford should be suspended for the rest of the yr (playoffs included) for trying to initate a fight. What Joey Crawford did, was beyond dispicable. I agree. Crawford crossed the line. No player deserves this from a ref. Not even Sheed. He needs to be reprimanded and have it be made public. Id love it if they had video or audio of what crawford said to Duncan.

    QFT. The blame is not on Quade for that run not scoring; it's on the two hitters that followed. I usually think people are to hard on JJ but the blame goes to him. If he just makes contact it is a tie game. He tried to do that. That was a swing i hardly ever see jock do. the pitch was just way to outside to try that.

    several of those are not hitting the outside corner They are very close and since they have been called all day the ump is very consistant. They gotta adjust better late in the count.

    Lohse is painting the corners on low fastballs away and has good sink on his offspeeds. He looks really good today. Damn.

    This doesnt make ANY sense. Its as if you are looking for ways to bitch about lou. The Riot's and Izturis, Cedeno's playing time has NOTHING to do with Murton. Unless Murton carries an infielders glove this is absolutely irrelevant to the discussion. Or Soriano could play 2nd and Jacque CF and Murton RF. You know to get Cedeno out of there. Oh thats right how could i forget. Those guys play those postions all the time and its 2005 for Soriano. 30 minutes of Fungo practice with Trammell will do the trick for Soriano. Piece of cake.

    I dont know what to make about Stanton. He will need work in a pro style offense thats for sure. Most of his damage in CFB was his ability to scramble and move around the pocket when things broke down. Teams really had to defend his running ability on non passing/spread offense option running plays too. He wont have that advantage anymore. Sure he has a high completion % but thats what that spread offense is about. Tim Couch had high % but they were all those dink and dunk short passes that doesnt play well in the NFL. Stanton has talent but he will definetly be a work in progress.

    Great start to the weekend huh guys. At some point they were going to go 3-6 during the season. it just sucks big fat ones its at the start of the season.

    Coffey is good but this reds bp isnt. they pitch out fo their ass at the beginning of the season ALL the time. The reds really piss me off for some reason.
