  1. OMG they made one.
  2. wiscy 13% FG
  3. ND is going down. 16 is a to make up. bastards
  4. Listen to the rim at the Wiscy game, its broke or has like all its screws loose.
  5. damn it wisconsin play better! you are a solid tournament program.
  6. SOB wisky is down early. At first when i saw the seedings i thought this was a community college....hahha
  7. Vols rolling. I dont care for Bruce Pearl very much.
  8. WINthrop by 4 at half.
  9. Alot of people thought they were overseeded at 4 to begin with. This isnt coming from me, just what ive read and heard. Yeah, Virginia at 4, considering how they ended the season and the fact that they didn't have a fantastic resume to begin with, was pretty ridiculous. In fact, VT and Duke at 5 and 6 was wacky too. GT needs to keep storming back - I have them in the 16. I too have them in one of my pools. good coach. Good coach? Wow. I have Georgia Tech in the sweet sixteen, too, but only because of athleticism/talent. If you're waiting for them to win on coaching, you'll be waiting a long while. They did go to the finals with a marginally talented team a couple years ago. He deserves some credit for that. Of course you could throw the IU coach at me too (his name escapes me). Anyway i thought that GT team was well coached. Mike Davis. Dusty Baker nearly took the Cubs to the World Series, was he a good coach? I'd also consider that Georgia Tech team more than marginally talented, BJ Elder was good and Jarrett Jack has been a good NBA player so far. Besides, they got blown out the first time they played a team with superior talent. They also didn't play a higher seeded team until the final four and Oklahoma State -- which was very nice victory. It was a nice run, of course. PS Are you watching the end of their game now? Look like a well coached team? Yes and no. They need to go to the Izzo school of rebounding. I forgot about the easy round Tech had going into that finals...where were you when i filled out my bracket.
  10. Im big on Berrian too, he's not a willie gault. The Bears must not have that much regard for Ian Scott. I say this because all the teams that are interested in Scott and the ones he is visiting arent for a starting job like many suspected at the onset of FA. If the Vikings are interested then he must not be getting starting money. IF he's not getting starters money why arent the Bears players? Hester: If the Bears can turn Azumah into a serviceable CB they can do the same to Hester. Hester was back and forth between WR and CB in Miami and they couldnt make up their mind, thats why the Bears stuck with him at CB to finally get him settled down at one position. I see Hester on offense more like a Reggie Bush type player than a predominate WR; change of pace RB with the ability to go wide or in the slot and run routes. He's a crazy football talent no doubt.

  12. N. Texas is fried. Down by 13

  15. You'd think Memphis as a #2 seed would bring the fans. Not that far away and who wouldnt want to spend the weekend in downtown New Orleans or the French QTR.
  16. Me too. I think either Nevada or Creighton may beat them. I wish IU could've drawn Memphis as the 2-seed instead of UCLA. Oh well. Yeah Creighton. I wonder if CBS does anything about 'famous' Creighton alums if they will use Jim Hendry.... EDIT: or whatever, even if he wasnt an alum he was the baseball coach.
  17. Nice ooop. NTexas wheels are falling off.
  18. wait.... i have Memphis in the Sweet 16. Screw them, i hope they lose. Not many are going to have nevada going to the sweet 16 (except for you Soccer, but you arent in my $ pool ;-) ). I have A and M going to the elite 8 so having Memphis gone is good.
  19. I do too. I always root for the little guy if that team isnt an Elite 8 or final four team, even more if its not a sweet 16 team like i have memphis bowing out next round.
  20. Was that Ackles?
  21. What about MMOD? I took the day off and have my laptop on Memhis and TV on GTEch.
  22. I definitely think the fact that there were only 2 close games in the last minute out of 16 really hurt the day yesterday. Looking back on the first round last year: 11 seed George Mason beating 6 seed Michigan State I was in a bar last year with some friends watching this game. Near the end i said that one of these days one of these Mid-Majors are going to the Final Four. I didnt say GM was going but these Mid-Majors are not the same programs 10-15 years ago. I like GM because they had size and athleticism. Old days the Mid Majors had one or the other but never both, all those kids went to the big school. I was really surprised at all the blowouts last night. First round blowout are few and far between nowadays. There are years the first round sucks but saturday and sunday are amazing or the tournament comes out like a house of fire and chills in the later rounds. One day is too early to tell.
  23. 1992-#6 seed: Fab Five Final Four 1993-#3 seed: Fab Five Finals. Picking them to beat #1 UK was awesome. 2000-MSU champs. Wisconsin #8 vs #1 Arizona. Their style of play was so ripe to f up the Cats. I had them going to the Elite 8, they went 1 further and went to the Final Four. Seton Hall as a #10 seed going to Sweet 16. Lamar Odem. Won the bracket. 2003-MSU as 7 seed going to the Elite 8 2004-UConn to win. Won the bracket. You look back now and go..so UConn as a 2 seed, big whoop. In a pool of 25 guys i was the only guy that had them winning, it was very strange to see that. Alot of people were scared of Okafur's back problems going into the tourney. 1990+All the first round Indiana upsets. Ive never had all 4 Final Fours. Ive had 3 but never 4, never less than 1.
  24. Dudes, have you forgotten so quickly...this is Beltran part 2 we are talking about here. :)
  25. Duke/VCU best game so far. My local TV had the MSU game but for some reason my HD channel had the VCU game.
