Mid majors have come a long way and they are losing bids. Look at the B10, it was a very weak year outside of 2 teams and they still got 6 in. 6 mid majors seems really low. bad to see that.

Prior did have some good movement on his fastball, although im not quite sure if thats all good yet. When Mark was Mark he was best when he could locate his fastball wherever he wanted, it may have been straight but it was straight on the black. His fastball was like Schillings and Clemens and he could locate it wherever he wanted to. Today his fastball kinda 'tailed' to the right to me. Wood has great movement on his fastball, except he cant control it as much as Mark. I always thought that since Mark could locate his fastball much better than Kerry it was a better pitch even without the movement Maybe this was because of his arm slot. It was observed by a few people today that his arm slot did not appear as much over the top as what it was before, it was more from the side, not near as much as Z's but didnt look like the old Markl Prior motion. It was a step in the right direction today, i need to see more of 'how' he is going to pitch. The curve having bite was nice, guys were swinging at garbage way away meaning they were really fooled Guzman is the Guzman we all dreamed of having. Its really encouraging seeing him pitch so well after all those injuries.

I know i came to the thread late but it was great hearing the guys say that Lous said The Riot is on the roster. Also if Buck Coats could play SS this board would be going out of its mind. It would be Romper Room. He's a hitter and coming into his own.

No, I was thinking that too. Thirded. Fourthded This is concerning. Why is he changing his arm slot? His curve was good and had good bite so thats kinda weird since he's not over the top as much. Im satisfied with the velocity today, nothing spectatular but as been stated its progress.

Priors arm slot looks different. its not at a low as Z's but seems lower than before. he doesnt look to throw over the top as much. could be me.

TJ Duckett signs a 1 year $1.5M deal. The lions are now reportably shopping Tatum Bell for a 2nd round pick. I know you guys all know that crazy so i wont get into that but let me say this....I HATE MATT MILLEN. This guys has made so much money being a clown its ridiculous. Of all the people in sports who make boatloads of cash Millen is the worst. Athletes making all the cash dont bother me at all but Matt Millen making $5M a year and guaranteed $25 is a joke. Seriously guys, we can do just as good as him and hes making $5M a year. I have a hard time comprehending those #s for him. But since his contract is guaranteed i hope he sticks around and keeps ruining the Lions.

I dont remember hearing anything 'linked' to him but ESPN projected DT Anthony Adams of San Fran to the Bears. Thats the only thing ive seen.

Me 2. I like to see the velocity and command of the fastball. I dont really care if the curve ball is everywhere. A little 'bite' would be nice even if its out of the zone. Good pitching day.
