  1. The 1 SB is the only one they are projecting him giving up. Probably to Jose Reyes with Hill pitching. This is Geovany Soto people.
  2. Is it me or are these bowl games taking FOREVER. Its like 4 hours everytime. Not that im compaining because what the hell is on tv.
  3. This just makes the UM victory yesteday even more sweeter. Urban Meyer....Suck it.
  4. Very well respected among Michigan fans. John Navarre was really raw when he came to UM and he ended up being a very good college QB under Loeffler's guidance. He recruited Chad Henne and Ryan Mallett. Hosak said he heard Tennessee is also potentially interested. Im disappointed he hasnt be 'rehired' yet. There are only 3 assistant coaches id of liked see RR retain, SL was one of them if not the #1.
  5. UGA is making Hawaii offense look like pure garbage.
  6. So thats what happens when UM opens up the offense and throws the ball downfield and not just outs, fades and bombs. They even used 3 wide receivers to balance out the passing game instead of just one. Classic Lloyd on the 3 runs at the end of the game to try and milk the clock instead of going for a TD and icing the game when the offense was rolling all game. Even forcing Florida to use the timeouts yielded 2+ minutes left for a dangerous offense. :x Percy Harvin is a helluva player and a crazy good verstale weapon, too bad he doenst possess Big Ten speed like Morgan Trent otherwise he would of taken that one to the house. 8-) That was literally the first time in three years ive seen Trent use his track speed on the field.
  7. Ropper looked pretty good for Oregon. Its a good thing for them they didnt go to the Leaf Blower.
  8. That fake punt trick play by Colorado earlier in the game was the stupidest fake i have ever seen. That might work with some 5th graders but not in CFB.
  9. The 72 Dolphins are way more annoying than this NE team. I for one am happy to see them go undeafeted. Shut those old crusty bastards up.
  10. They had 4th and inches on the 3 and decide to do a old school option play to the wide side of the field instead of pounding it.
  11. Stupid play call on 4 and inches by the aggies. That play was totally busted before McGee fell down.
  12. I just saw some dude with a big ol cowboy hat pick his nose then put the boogey in his mouth.
  13. Yeah hes got a fantastic arm, doesnt know what to do with it. Doesnt put any air under them either, they are cannons.
  14. I left the game earlier and boom it was 14-0 as i came back. I just switched it back after watching some of the NE game and boom 14-14.
  15. You guys don't want DeBord. Youd be hard pressed to find any Michigan fan singing praises of this guy. He isnt very good without a whole lot of talent on the offense and its total vanilla. While he was HC at Central Mich. in his 3 years he had a win percentage of .260. After he left Brian Kelly turned things around in year 2 and 3 and now Butch Jones at least has the offense humming. UT can do much better than DeBoring. Hosak earlier brought up the name Scott Loeffler as a potential QB coach, now he on the otherhand is well respected by Michigan fans. If RRod doesnt rehire him like he should and if he went to UT he would be a good get. He was very instrumental in getting Chad Henne and Ryan Mallett.
  16. Both those offenses sucked bad and the QB's were awful.
  17. texas is better than kansas. and missouri. ut is the second best team in the big 12. sorry about your lie. people were saying the pac 10 was the second best when oregon looked like #1 or #2. now no one is Yeah yeah i know, i said 'most' not all. 8-) Of course im going to get a jab in about the Pac 10, its fun to do so every once in while.
  18. Most of the year we heard about how good the Pac Ten was and how crappy the B12 was, heck i remember hearing that the Pac 10 was the best or 1A behind the SEC. Well last night the 4th best B12 team throttles the 2/3 best Pac 10 team. Im not going to use this as a total litmus test for those 2 conferences but it was a nice win for the B12.
  19. I dont have a problem with the position that the SEC is better than the B10, they are. Now I think its greatly exaggerated by how much. But what burns my freaking craw is the myth about "SEC speed". We were talking to some people in Kentucky about the RR hire and one guy says "you know Michigan is a big team, they need to get faster." Wait, you are telling me what Michigan needs and you probably know nothing about the talent on this team. This team doesnt lack talent or speed, the reason they will get their ass kicked against Florida is because the system underutlizes the talent and speed on this team (especially on the offense), while Florida is a superior coached team. If UM and OSU were so big and slow why are all these players from those schools in the NFL. Maybe not so much this year but id gladdy line up PSU's defense against any top "SEC speed" defense. Same goes for Wisky's past defenses. /rant
  20. Don't worry, apparently Dick Rod had a change of heart on Fred Jackson......I wonder why?? No change of heart. In his presser RR stated he doesnt 'retain' current staff, he rehires them; he reinterated that today. Did the same thing at WVU. 2 other guys are also reported to be 'rehired'.
  21. Wealthy donors mad at WVU officials for RRod departure. http://postgazette.com/pg/07352/842541-144.stm
  22. I thought you could only redshirt your freshman year. #-o With the Prior news, just like that RR is already engaged in a big recruiting battle with OSU.
  23. as an alumnus, i'm totally excited with this seemingly last-minute turn-of-events. all the rumors about brady hoke made me want to burn my diploma. the fact that he's bringing gibson (db coach) and magee (oc) might mean debord's gone. excellent. DeBord was on his way out anyway. Run left hasn't worked for years. I'm also excited about Rich Rod bringing our strength and conditioning program into the 21st century as well. I do hope they keep Ron English on as DC. I wasnt so sure about what would happen with Debord. His status caused a lot of consternation after reading all the rumors of what was going on in this process behind the scenes. I was never so sure until RR was hired. The new guard at AA won on this one. As for Mallett ill be surprised if he transfers. He burnt his redshirt and transfering would cost him another year. Plus after listening the RR's presser this morning there were at least 3 questions about his offense and how it will fit in. He said that his spread offense is moldible to the talent of a passing or running qb and in the past they have geared it towards a throwing qb and utilizing the skill position players. I thought Mallett was a true freshmen this year. Yeah, if he transfered he only has 2 years of elgiblity remaining but had he redshirted like a lot of Qbs he would have 3 left which isnt so bad. And its not like hes played all that much this year to granish a year of experience. At the same time a lot of qbs dont get their first start until their junior year so who knows. IF he transfers it will definetly hurt UM.

  25. I'll be interesting to see how RR conforms his offense to the current UM talent. Im all for the passing spread offense. Shawn King threw the ball all over the place at Tulane when RR was the OC, so im optimistic.. Buh bye Mike Debord. His offensive game plans were a total pile.
