  1. We need to start teaching Q LF, that way when he looks like he’s having a blowup inning we move him there and let Someone else finish the inning and then he comes back out the next inning
  2. Teetering on the edge of blowup inning territory
  3. Willson’s weak ass contact actually helps for once
  4. What the horsefeathers is Bryant swinging at
  5. Brewers trying to make up for all the Cubs errors last night on one play. Hilarious
  6. I can already tell the Cubs are going to score 0 or 1 runs
  7. The offseason moves were not great, but not because of the Morrow signing. It's because of the Darvish + Chatwood signings and how little we've gotten from them. Letting Wade Davis leave and signing Morrow was the right thing to do. I guess we could've traded for another Closer, but then we'd be losing prospects/players. Not so much of “Theo did bad” as it is “Everything turned out bad”. The Cubs spent more money than any other team in FA last year and due to injury or ineffective play, it’s likely that we will not see a single one of them in a playoff game
  8. [tweet] [/tweet] Doesn’t sound promising Edit: more [tweet] [/tweet]
  9. Well the good news is that if we cant win today at least we have Strasburg and Scherzer this weekend since we only beat elite pitching now.
  10. Eh. I'm getting bored with this season. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk Most recent episode is the best of the season
  11. I’d rather have him sit against Miley than Strasburg and Scherzer on Thursday and Friday
  12. Update on how Brewers runs scored this series: -2 runs indirectly caused by a balk -Walked in a run -fielders choice -wild pitch -sac fly (run got into place via error) -sac fly (probably the most legit run of the series) -fielding error -passed ball Either fatigue or lack of focus
  13. I said the other day the Cubs started their 23 game death march 10-3 and id take 4-6 or 5-5 in the last 10 and I still stand by that.
  14. Some OPS’s since around the All Star break Schwarber .704 Contreras .589 Russell .512
  15. I hope we find out after the season that Willson has some sort of undisclosed power sapping injury because he’s just fallen off a cliff
  16. Bryce is really helping out his Cubs buddies this week
  17. Fully expect to see him in the game if it’s tied late. Is he any good? He’s the best pitcher to ever horsefeathers his pants on the mound during a Cubs playoff game
  18. So the Brewers runs this series have been scored on: 2 partially due to a balk, walk, fielders choice, passed ball
  19. Just getting caught up...I’m struggling to see Maddon’s logic there
  20. Same here, but I'm still guarded until we actually start winning same games.
  21. Love how he celebrates like he got the big hit when he basically just hit into an inning ending DP if he’s one step slower
  22. It was clear Carl didn’t have his control today. Once the bases were loaded he needed to leave the game. Wtf Joe
