  1. I was already typing my complaint that Turner is our ****** ass bench option and a sarcastic remark about looking forward to the deadline so we could fix that. But he shut me up before I could even say it.
  2. I’m shocked a lefty is lined up to face our lefties
  3. Add struggling closer to the list of issues with the Cubs right now. Even getting the job done he’s allowed some hard contact lately.
  4. Yeah, pessimistic or optimistic, its hard to deny this series has not been fun to watch.
  5. Brewers scored 38 runs in their 3 game sweep of the Nats, 38-14 combined score with 7 of the 14 Nats runs coming in garbage time with the Nats down 10+ runs. Meanwhile the Cubs have scored 7 runs all series. Cubs need 6 more runs today to prevent the Brewers from jumping them in run differential
  6. Well we got through the heart of the order that inning. Palencia will have 6,7,8 in the 9th
  7. Feel like 60% of PCAs at bats lately have been against lefties and he’s struggling
  8. Incoming lefty to face PCA im guessing i mean it doesn’t help that everyone is slumping but feels like teams are game planning the cubs offense better
  9. No wonder pitchers keep hammering Seiya outside with all the terrible strikes called against him
  10. Are the Cubs doing the thing where they do all their hitting in one game of the series? lol
  11. I'm sure the Brewers 48-15 is not the best 63 game stretch in baseball history but it's gotta be like in the top 20?
  12. There's another video on twitter of Caleb nailing the drill also. Not gonna share it because I can't find on BlueSky but yeah training camp video.
  13. This might be the most depressing place on the internet right now. Come on guys one of these MLB seasons we’ll learn how to handle the peaks and valleys.
  14. worth noting that the 2018 Brewers hot streak was over 30ish games. The 2025 Brewers have been playing 119 win pace baseball for 62 games
  15. Again I don't understand why we just lop off 40% of the season and say the most recent 46 game stretch is the real Cubs. Even this mediocre stretch is a 85-77 pace. The Tigers just had a 1-13 stretch or something like that. The Yankees played well under .500 for a month. It's frustrating and this game was a huge gut punch but I assure you if the Cubs had a 9 game division lead none of this stuff would be magnified like it is.
  16. Hoerner (R) PCA (L) Seiya (R) Tucker (L) Kelly (R) Busch (L) Swanson (R) Happ (S) Shaw (R) Maybe you switch Tucker and keep him where he's been all year because even slumping he still takes good ABs and gets on base, but PCA brings speed I dunno, maybe that's stupid. If every one of your hitters is slumping at the same time nothing looks great
  17. We just have to accept that the Brewers are probably the greatest team in baseball history and we're playing for home field in the Wild Card round.
  18. 19-18 their last 37. But like I've said before, everyone has mediocre or downright bad stretches every year. Everything is magnified because the Brewers are playing 119 win ball for 40% of a full season.
  19. They're good against lefties. But when your 3 of your 4 best lefties are bunched together at the top of the lineup, and the one righty in the mix is in a horrific slump, seems like it leaves you exposed to situations like this.
  20. Terrible. Lefty shuts down the top of our lineup again
