  1. I post there too. What's your handle over there? Mines the same (UMFan83). Some of the posters there are awesome. Tom Boerwinkle #1, shambulls, mizenkay, and spongyfunky come to mind. Oh and whats the poster that has a sexual attraction to the Bulls winning?
  2. Yeah he's just gotta hit the offspeed and breaking stuff. Once he figures that out, he should be a stud
  3. How dare you forget the his 4-pitch walk in his 5th AB!? At least he had one hard hit ball that could easily have gone for a single if it was hit a foot or two to the left or right. Still, he only saw 7 pitches in his first 4 ABs and he was retired on the first pitch in two of them. OK OK my bad. So his OBP is pretty low, yet he is still being as productive (2 RBIs each) in 20 PAs then Hairston has been in his 5 weeks as a starter. Of course thats not fair to Jerry, but lets bring TWalk up anyways
  4. Walker went 0-4 again with Iowa today.....now 0-19 in his rehab assignment
  5. The Miller Lite sign says "Go Chicago!" most likely to remain neutral. My friend took a picture for NSBB from Sheffield Ave., when he loads it onto his computer I'll post it
  6. He'll probably start AT THIS POINT but don't forget there is about 6-7 weeks until the All-star starters are announced. A lot of good or bad could happen between then Regardless, I'm taking a couple handfulls of ballots on Friday at Wrigley and checking off one Derrek Lee in each of them
  7. Still more RBIs then Jerry Hairston this year
  8. OK, about time to bring him up
  9. OOF! A couple of first pitch outs? Sounds like he's about ready to join the big league club
  10. Lock thread and start a new one plz Good season, I wish they played more like the regular season bulls for most of that series
  11. They switched it to TNT because the Heat/Nets series is over. Otherwise it would have been on NBA TV/Comcast again Good thing I have class from 6-9 Wednesday, if the Bulls get blown out again, I'll be too distracted to punch a hole in a wall. If the Bulls win, I will have a great class.
  12. Yeah, I just sent this email to the NBA about it. I'm sure it'll get read by some minimum wage worker in central India, but I don't care. It made me feel better. If anyone else wants to write, you can do so through NBA.com. That was great  About one hour until game time, and I'm getting nervous. I hope the Bulls didn't lose as much confidence as I did after losing just one game
  13. GAME TIME WOOO!!!!!!!!!
  14. Doesn't that run the risk of him having to clear waivers if/when we send him down again, or does that only occur once a year?
  15. No its not. Its on the same track it has always been. Brilliant when healthy, but the health doesn't come often. But I mean after all that time rehabbing last year, barely making the Cubs as a non-roster invitee, and 19 games into the year he gets hurt again. He's getting old, how much longer does he want to rehab if his elbow just going to fall apart again?
  16. I think Chad Fox's career is over :(
  17. Leaving for the UC in 15 minutes. SRO tickets for todays game, should be fun!!
  18. I was able to pull up 19 (yes nineteen) club box tickets next to each other for tomorrows game. EVERYTHING is available, from bleachers to field box. If you are in the Area and are looking to goto a Cubs game, this is one to goto (despite the weather). Id go for sure if I didn't have to goto the Bulls game tomorrow (damn Bulls playoff game, ruining everything ;))
  19. Is it just me or has Dusty been getting dumber on a game by game basis. As soon as Remlinger came in to face Walker, I predicted HR (I have multiple friends to verify, but you probably dont need proof). Seriously, I think he is trying to lose, he has to be.
  20. I have a feeling that the Cubs can do alright without Nomar. This could be the start of a process that renames the Ewing Theory into the Nomar Theory.
  21. I blame me now too
  22. I knew Carlos Lee was a Cub-killer, but this is pathetic. I swear between the Cubs and the Bulls lately, it seems like they are trying to outdo themselves on a daily basis.
  23. According to the Trib article, that prospect sounds very weak at best I have a feeling we'll be seeing an article that says "WALKER OUT FOR SEASON" tomorrow...
  24. Lets go over some of the ones I remember from the past since this is the official thread. "Sorry STL, playoffs not in the Cards" - During the famous 5 game series against St. Louis in September 2003 "WHO-ston? - I think also in 2003 "Keep your eyes on the ball and hands on your beer" - During the Marlins series last September
  25. Me and Mark_R will be at the game tomorrow, so if they change the sign I'll be sure to photograph it even though I'll be at a weird angle in the bleachers
