  1. He has really struggled shooting some nights, but when he is in the game he has the intensity and hustle that was a lot of the praise given to him early on. I also think he is still adjusting to the American game, but he actually gets to a lot of rebounds at times put on a good scoring display.
  2. The Bulls have really settled into some pretty defined roles. I especially enjoy the roll that Tyson Chandler is on. Obviously this guy is not an offensive force and we all have given up on that. I don't even care, this guy plays great D nowadays. He swats a lot of balls, and you can count on him for 9+ boards per game. He has definitely earned a spot in the starting rotation, and with Deng, Hinrich, Curry and Gordon getting the points, who needs Tyson to score?
  3. I'm one of the biggest Curry detractors out there, and when I was at the UC on Monday night from my last row seat, I could see how much this team really needed Eddy Curry if merely for inside presence alone. Othella Harrington shooting 10 times isn't a recipe for winning #-o Yeah, the crowd was pretty scared everytime someone other then Hinrich, Deng or Gordon shot the ball. The crown reaction when Noccioni shot a 3 in the third quarter. "NOOOOOOO!!.....YEAH!!!!" as he hit it We really needed Currys physical presense in there on Monday. Too bad Chandler is not that answer despite being over 7 feet
  4. Just thought I'd mention that Mark_R and I are headin to the Bulls/Pistons game tomorrow night at the UC. I'll possibly bring my digi and take pics
  5. We could really make the playoffs....no seriously
  6. Mr. Hyde shows up, Bulls lose on the National TV Edit: Wait which is the one that's bad?
  7. When the Bulls are good they are damn good.... Too bad they don't reach that moment of Zen too often
  8. I think the Bulls last night showed exactly what you'll get from them this season, a whole lot of inconsistantly. The Nocioni signing was awesome. I listened to one of the preseason games on the radio and it was crazy how fans at the beginning of the game were like 'who are you', and by the end of the game they were giving him a standing ovation. He didn't look too good on D from what I saw of the game, but he does hustle and play a really good style of basketball. My prediction is the Bulls finish 35-47 as long as the bottom doesnt fall out early.
  9. I'm confused. Rocket, I love the sig. "I likea table tennis, ummm shoot dog..."
  10. Jason Dubois should be our starting LF next year. I''m in
  11. Sweet it works! Edit: 4321
  12. 3$%$#*%@!*(@!!!^$#)T$#(%$#@)!)!!! WOW! You are amazing. I can watch these via MLB.tv at MLB.com, but having them on my hard drive is 100 times better
  13. It's funny but I remember that too. Didn't that break a window too?
  14. Wow thanks again. I love retro Cubs stuff (and by retro I mean 90's Cubs ). If anyone has anything from the 1998 season, I would be in Heaven. I taped Kerry Wood's 20K game (it was replayed during a rainout the next day) but I can't find it :(
  15. Wow thanks Jon. This brings back memories of those mid to late 90's Cubs. You have anymore interesting clips hosted that you wouldn't mind losing bandwith over?
  16. I'm not sure if it is too late, but I figured I'd give it a shot. Bruce, with the Cubs being to turned into a consistantly winning team with a strong core probably 2-3 years before even they expected, how does that change the orginaztation's views on their farm system. Surely we've already seen the club give up on prospects such as Cruz, Choi and Hill a bit prematurely, whereas a few years back these prospects would have been given a much better chance to 'prove themselves' on the Cubs. Will the 'win now' approach jepordize the chance for prospects such as Harris, Kelton, Ryu, Guzman, and even Pie to succeed in Cubs Blue? Thanks again for answering questions, we all really appreciate it!
  17. Thats an awesome site you have there man. Sorry you cant put up a happy blog entry today. Actually I'm not :) (all in good fun)
  18. I am a refugee from the ESPN.com boards as well (name was UMFan83 as well....for the Michigan Wolverines). I pretty much missed the entire wastra, goony, uk, etc. days. I started posting there around March 2003 but by October got so sick of davemason, cardsukk, BBS, twinsfan and various astros, white sox and cards trolls, that finding this site (can't remember how) was an amazing find during the playoffs. Thank you guys for many great discussions in the past and into the future. I want to be involved in the inevitable "CUBS WIN THE WORLD SERIES!!!!" thead on this board
  19. I don't know if your talking about forums are purely information sites, but obviously for the Red Sox and a lot of baseball in general the best forum is SoSH Link: http://pub208.ezboard.com/bsonsofsamhorn
