    The last two times I turned to the White Sox game, I turned it on right as a White Sox home run was entering the outfield stands. So in 30 seconds of watching the White Sox, I've watched them score more then then I have in 9 hours of watching the Cubs the last 3 games.....

    5-7, I believe. Yeah, 5-7 is correct. Does that include the game he was injured in? They came back and won after he got hurt. Lee was injured in game 14 on Wed 19 April....... since then.....     All these reponses and not one mention of Moises pissing on his hands. I'm proud of you guys. If you mess with Moises, urine trouble!

    Well it was obviously a huge mistake to sign Mabry. His bad speed is soooo slow, and he has no idea where the strike zone is anymore. Bad idea if he is your only power threat off the bench (and a weak one at that). Restovich was never supposed to be on this team. Hairston was supposed to platoon with Walker. He's a slight above average hitter, but I think is lacking because of the fact that he never plays. Blanco is a backup catcher and a good play caller. Pagan I really (and still do) have high hopes for, he seemed very competent when he was playing. As constructed the bench was only slightly below average. The key is that Neifi got worse (if thats even possible), there is NO power on the bench, and the bench looks a lot weaker because of the Lee injury.

    Our offense is below average, but it isn't as bad as it is right now either. Trust me, we are just in a bad slump. I've seen worse. I remember a POST-Nomar Cubs series in 2004 when we scored just 2 runs (all in one inning) in a three game series against the Brewers. This feast or famine is not new to the Cubs.

    I don't get how it seems like the only power hitters from AA up are Lee and Ramirez. No power on the bench, little to no power in AAA and AA. Pretty bad organization for the most part.

    I hope AZ scores one more run so its an even 40-5 score in the last 5 games. That will also make the average defeat 8-1

    I will give Hendry credit, he did improve the head of the bullpen (everything else just got worse) Yes I know Lee is injured Ramirez isn't hitting, but why the hell is there NO POWER on this team? Shouldn't Hendry have stayed away from guys like Bynum and maybe gotten a big stick off the bench in case, you know, we lost one of our few power threats?
