With all this talk about the new Cubs offense (including with Lee), the Cubs are 24th in the league in runs scored. That's gotta change if we want to win more then 65 games this year. Actually, I don't care. Win if you want to. If you don't it will only continue a 98 year tradition of losing.... -

Heh you do realize that ESPN is the main coverage for the game. ESPN2 is supposed to be different camera angles and analysis during the game and during commercials.

It looks pretty obvious that they are demoralized by the loss of Lee. They look flat, and its not that they don't care, but they look completely upset. Screw em, the Cubs weren't goin to win this year anyways.

I've tried not being a fan. To my horror, I discovered it's a disease that has no cure. Believe me, if I could escape I would have long ago. I tried to become an Oakland fan the first time Dusty started Neifi this year, but I'm addicted. As much as I hate myself for it, I'm addicted. :) That's actually a good idea. When do Frank Thomas and Co. play today? Focus on the minor leaguers. There is always optimism in the future. No all they provide false hope that the future will be better when in my heart I know its not.

This would be a 2 game losing streak....... No, I'm assuming the Cubs will go quietly and make this a 2 game losing streak. The 8th inning rally I'm refering to is the one in LA the other day.

The Cubs are 1 random 8th inning rally from a 4 game losing streak. In fact come to think of it. If you take away 3 innings this year, the 7th against St Louis (saturday game) the 8th of the Sunday game, and the 8th inning of the LAD game, we'd be 6-10

The Cubs suck, I won't truely think they hav a shot at the World Series until the entire organization is washed clean. They need new ownership, new front office all the way down to the manager, hell even change the uniforms and get rid of Wrigley Field.

I hate the Cubs. I am sick of the negativity that surrounds them, I'm sick of hearing about curses, I'm sick of teams always getting the best of us, I'm sick of freak injuries, I'm sick of wondering how good my team would be in 3 of their 4 best players weren't hurt. I'm sick of it all.

I don't understand why they don't skip Glendon and have Z pitch tomorrow. At this point, we don't need any more crappy performances. Z Maddux Marshall Rusch Jerome I mean I realize a rotation of Marshall Rusch and Williams is not idea for any series, but I'd rather finish STL strong and go into FLA with that.
