Wow...www.boston.com is reporting that Ortiz was sent back to Boston with an irregular heartbeat. This heart issue caused him to spend a night in the hospital during the Yankees series a week ago. That is why I am hoping the Red Sox make a miracle run to the playoffs. It will be impossible to do anything good in the offseason with the Red Sox likely outspending everyone.

This is a big series for the Pirates if they are serious about overtaking the Cubs for 5th place. What are they like 4.5 back? The standard Cubs sweep will put them within serious striking distance. -

I was there :) After the game a friend of mine who was participating in a charity event at halftime, got his head shaved by Nate Jacqua. He's actually a pretty cool guy in person. I thanked him for helping to beat Chelski :)

As ignorant as this sounds...I will not consider the offense to be acceptable until they score one touchdown. I mean they've had just about 6 quarters to score a TD
