  1. I like Adewale Ogunleye better
  2. I saw that before they corrected it. Stupid Phil Rogers
  3. The guy that writes this article is a moron. He just implied that the Bears should go out and trade for Brett Favre. http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=whitlock/060907
  4. With all due respect to Scott Moore and his potential...God I hope not. They use him as leverage, and Aramis laughs all this way to Anaheim or some place.
  5. Ronnie Brown, getting my fantasy team off to a good start! I really wish Dante could get the ball to Chambers more though.
  6. I don't remember mine...but probably because I was 2. That reminds me, I need to send my dad a nasty email sarcastically thanking him for making me a Cubs fan
  7. Unfortunately, his last comment to Cubs.com caused him to disguise his name and move to Arizona, but make no doubt, this is him. Ladies and gentlement, the world's only remaining Dusty Baker backer (from the Paul Sullivan mailbag):
  8. Glad you enjoyed your first game at Wrigley. Too bad the team sucks and no one went. Thats a sweet video btw.
  9. Agreed. And I have no idea who could replace him. But I hear Dusty Baker may be desperate for a job this winter. Hey! Jim Hendry used to manage at the college level! I think we just killed two birds with one stone! That would be a Cubslike move. Team can't hit, lets switch Sarge and Gene's positions to make it look like things are changing!
  10. Booooo Offtopic, but does anyone ever ask themselves why Boo is universally accepted as a sign of distate. In reality it's just a silly sound. All of the world's knowledge can be found on wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Booing Which leads you to: http://www.slate.com/id/2141597/?nav=tap3
  11. Anyone who can define OBP and explain its relative importance to the game of baseball is fine by me. Extra credit to anyone who can discuss the disadvantage of 'selling low'
  12. Dusty is probably thinking: "Crap, I killed baseball on the north side of Chicago"
  13. Good call. Thats not interesting, thats predictable.
  14. At least hes challenging hitters like he wanted to...
  15. hahhahahaha how do we lose to this team so often, look at their defense!
  16. This is the third time in the last 4 days that I completely forgot a Cubs game was on until 45 minutes after it started
  17. You still have time to turn your back on the Cubs. Heed our advice
  18. I agree. 4 no hitters and 2 world titles in 11 seasons. For the Cubs, 0 world titles in 98 years and no no hitters for like 30 years. I HATE the Marlins
  19. Cmon halfway to the sweeeep! Guesses on attendance tonight? I say around 33,500
  20. The leadoff hitter is important because he hypothetically sets the table for the middle of the lineup. A leadoff hitter with a higher OBP gives the 3-4-5 hitters a better chance to drive in a run. Or at least thats what the MLB textbook says.
  21. Beautiful. Sounds like something Z will suffer with the rest of his career. For the love of God, just contract this team please. PLEASE PLEASE
  22. speaking of Carlos Silva, how does a team in a playoff race allow a pitcher to pitch so many bad innings? Brad Radke's arm is dangling by a thread
  23. http://aycu36.webshots.com/image/3835/2000744759776730502_rs.jpg
