    I'll also take 1-1 after 2. The longer this game is tied or in the Hawks favor, it benefits the Hawks because the Sharks need this tons more than we do. They'll tighten up.

    Not yet. He's done way too much on the defensive end for me to say he's a choker. Agreed, but he has to score there. He knew he only had a second to get off that shot and from that position that's a gimme, not a shot that requires puck control before shooting.

    Ill advised pass there. Going for a HR, instead it's a faceoff in your zone.

    I feel like every time I start bitching about the Hawks passing too much and taking their time on the PP they make a perfect pass and shut me up.

    Nabby just getting a piece of everything this game. Hard to get one by him. Not that we've had a ton of great opportunities, but the shots that were slipping by him in game 2 aren't going through now.

    The Sharks still haven't scored a full strength goal this series when the game is within 2 scores.

    Unbelievably painful to kill 1:40 of a 5 on 3 and have them score with 1 second left. Really horrible breaks going against the Hawks right now.

    Of course they score with 1 seconds left, killing that penalty and we are still a man down.

    I agree, great first period. I will definitely take 0-0 after 1. I expected SJ to come out and give a dominant effort and really outplay us. They didn't and now I'm convinced we are going to win the series, even if they steal one tonight.

    Well, they were outplayed in the first period the first game and, I believe, for the first 10 minutes of the second game Yeah they are doing fine controlling the game, I just see too many cross ice passes in the neutral zone instead of the dump ins that worked so well on the road. most of the time they were doing that was when they were protecting a big lead But that's also the kind of stuff they said they did on the road well that they wanted to do at home. Not taking a lot of risks, dumping it in, and taking their chances when they come. Don't allow any odd man breaks, etc. It's more conservative, but against a team like the Sharks it can work at times.

    Nabby looks sharp tonight. They went into this game talking about having a road type game plan and so far I haven't seen that at least offensively

    Too many short handed breaks for SJ to make that a good PP, but I've seen worse.

    In retrospect these 2 days off to reflect on a 2-0 lead seem like the worst thing that could happen. All I hear about is people talking about how great it is that the Hawks are so close to a title, and all this stuff that makes it seem like the rest of this series is just a corronation for the Hawks. I hope the Hawks aren't hearing a lot of that buzz. There is still a series to win against a great team.

    I always imagined that Cyno was waiting for the right moment to return, but in the meantime he had been compiling a list of horrible calls against the Hawks all year. And then on his return, his first post is that list of bad calls, and the list is so long, and has so many profanities contained that the board immediately crashes upon hitting submit.

    For anyone who knows somoene going to the game, or doesn't mind going alone, ticketmaster has some 300 level singles available that just got released. No pairs I dont think though.
