    No it's not, it's football and that happens. The sad part is sabotaging a game with ignorance. Exactly. Its the first game of the season, a divisional opponent, a home game, etc etc etc. Who cares how you get the win, just get it and hope it was just a really bad game.

    I agree. I was telling my friend how bad it was that I cannot even confidently say that we will get points when we started that "drive". And I was right to say that.

    Has any team ever lost a game where they outgained their opponents 400%? Or if it has happened, has it ever happened with the turnover differential of the losing team only being -1 or better?

    Not only are we going to lose this but we are going to lose it in the most infuriating way possible that makes our coach look as awful as humanly possible. This season has potential to be entertaining.

    I don't wnat to stop talking about this....is there anyone that can make an excuse that it's worse to take the 99% guaranteed 3 points to give you a 2 point lead, than try a 75% chance (less for the bears of the last 2 years) of taking a 6 point lead, and risk still trailing with 8 minutes left in the game? That was the dumbest call in NFL history. It replaces Lovie's TO with 3 seconds left in a tie playoff game as his dumbest move.

    Yeah. Even if the Bears win, they haven't made me feel confident about them going forward. I agree...but we've seen really good teams randomly struggle against the Lions the last 2 years. We have almost 4 times as many total yards as them...we are losing to them in stupid turnovers and drives stalling within 5 yards of FG range.
