    Nevermind, I thought Carolina was challenging. This is dumb. Either way your statement makes sense. The Bears should want to avoid any goal line plays if at all possible.

    [expletive], we challenged it and theres no way they will overturn this. That means 2nd and goal from the dreaded 1 foot line. It might be 20-3 instead.

    I wouldnt have bet on both teams combining for 24 all game, much less one team scoring 24 in the first 10 minutes of the game.

    We still can't get any substantial yardage running up the gut. The big runs we've had were when the RB cut back outside, or the run was designed to run outside. Still good to see positive gains of any sort though.

    I should have clarified better. The comment wasn't excusable, the large polish presence at the game was.

    I hear ya man. I was surrounded by polish supporters and was actually told to "sit down and shut up" after celebrating the 2nd US goal. This is a little excusable considering the insane numbers of polish people living in and around Chicago.

    This is exactly what I expected to see when Michigan finally played a team that wasn't awful. With Illinois good performance against PSU, I think Purdue is Michigan's only hope for a win the rest of this year and bowl eligibility. I teeter between UM finishing the season 0-7 and 1-6. I think Denard might still have another 200/200 game against a bad Big 10 day that can offset the other offense doing anything they want against the D. I'll be satisfied if they can finish 6-6 with this level of talent.

    I just can't believe we signed Soriano to an 8 year bizillion dollar deal and it looks like we're only going to get 2 quality seasons out of him.

    I think they need to come up with a new formula. So all no-hitters are automatically better than games where a pitcher gave up a hit? Not all, no. But Halladay's no-hitter IMO was better than Lincecum's 1-hitter. That bum Halladay should have struck out more batters.

    The penalty kill however.... 3-1 Colorado. Hopefully this is just a bad game because we look awful defensively.

    The power play has been pretty good so far. Lots of really nice passing all over the ice for the Hawks.

    We've given up a few solid short handed opportunities. Very disapointed in the D so far. It should be like 2-1 Colorado. Thank Turco. This was an awful power play blah.
