I can't believe a Delay of Game is partially responsible for losing this game for the Steelers.

Collinsworth is an idiot. It's impossible to complete a 40 yard pass in 8 seconds and still have time for another play.

[expletive], I had Steelers +2.5 in a 3 team teaser that I won the first 2 games on. I hate gambling.

Oh, absolutely. All it takes is the offense to be out of sync one game in the playoffs and we're done if the D doesn't get it together. We will NOT win the Super Bowl this year with the D being this bad. It just won't happen. It has to improve significantly if we're going to repeat. I dunno, the Packers have won 14 games in a row including the playoffs. And in those 14 games, Rodgers has had a +111 QB rating 12 times. The 3 lowest QB ratings in that span all came against the Bears (55.4 - NFC title game, 89.7 - Week 17, 111.4 - Week 3 this year). So as long as you avoid the Bears in the playoffs, I'd say it's likely the offense does not get out of sync for any playoff game.

Play calls for the Steelers: 18 passes, 6 rushes. How come I didn't hear about Martz joining Pittsburgh? (yes I am a Mendenhall owner)

Canucks have 5 power play goals tonight (5-6, 83.3% ) Blackhawks have 5 power play goals all year. (5-53 9.4%) It's insane that there are 2 teams that have converted a lower percentage of PPs this season, St. Louis (3-40, 7.5%) and Columbus (6-65, 9.2%)

5-2. 4 goals allowed in the period. Just chalk it up as a bad night. They are much better than this. The appalling this is that the Canucks are 4-5 on the PP, compared to 0-4 for the Hawks.

i wonder how many goals they've scored in their last 25 shorthanded situations. I just looked it up. The Hawks have scored 3 shorthanded goals in their last 28 PK situations, or 2 for their last 26 if you want symmetry to compare to the Hawks 1 for 26 power play.

I dunno, I would guess the Canucks energy is more about the fact that they've started the season 6-7-1 rather than simply playing the Hawks. Just looked it up, Vancouver is on their 3rd game in 4 nights just like the Hawks, so no excuses there. Hawks now 0-3 on the power play, surprise surprise. Anemic PP unit.

Alright, Vancouver commits its trademark idiotic penalty. Hopefully the Hawks can gain some momentum.

omg do we look awful. Hopefully this is just a desperate team giving 110% against a team playing their 3rd game in 4 nights, because it looks like the Hawks don't belong on the ice with Vancouver.

Not good. Vancouver has been dominating play almost the entire game. SOG is in favor of Vancouver 21-9 so far. The 2nd period so far has been slightly better but Vancouver has definitely been in control for most of it. The Hawks goal was a complete fluke and should have easily have been saved as Frolik was against the boards and just tried to flick it on net and it went in. The Hawks have also committed 4 penalties so far to Vancouver's 2, and Vancouver has scored on 3 of the 4 PPs and the Hawks of course not scoring on either of their PPs. Cannot really put into words how poor the Hawks have played thus far tonight, and the scoreboard is starting to reflect that.

Home clubhouse is a POS but it's a mansion compared to the visitors clubhouse. If you've ever taken a tour at Wrigley the difference is noticeable IMO. Also the visitors have to walk like a half mile through a tunnel to get to the field meaning its harder to go back and forth from the clubhouse during the game.

Sucks Michigan had 2 TDs overturned on the final drive, even though the first one was obvious. I understand that the rule states that there has to be indisputable evidence to overturn a call, but whenever I try to bring that up, it seems like the officials overturn a call because it looks like the correct call but there isnt indisputable evidence. Now, I see this occur a lot more in the NFL but still.
