Not only that but there could have easily been PI called on the last play as well. Officials did everything possible to give Iowa the game on the last set of downs. I realize it sounds like sour grapes, but thats how I feel.

Dammit for a second I thought Roundtree got free and was getting into the end zone. This is going to be a great finish. My prediction, UM gets the TD but Robinson gets stuffed on the 2 point conversion and we lose the game on a botched XP snap.

I think 3-4 of Denard's passes on this drive have gone 5-6 feet out of bounds where it would be impossible for anyone to catch it. This really is embarrassing. I hope Sportscenter does a highlight clip of this drive to show how bad he has been throwing deep.

Maybe Denard should try to aim for the nearest DB and instead he'll throw it right to his guy.

Or maybe just make him a situational QB where we bring someone in who can throw at least somewhat competently in these situations. I would love to still have Forcier on the team for situations like this. Not that Forcier was super accurate, but he was definitely better than this. This is embarrassing right now.

On a punt return, are you allowed to block the other team coming down to pin you inside the 5? If so, why do those guys always seem to get past the blockers? Is it because they are worried that they will inadvertently touch the ball?

Well that helps...there's enough time left if they can stop Iowa. Still need a stop another TD and a 2 point conversion though.

Not really. Take away Denard's running, take away any chance at us winning a game. They certainly look much less likely to beat OSU with the way their D has played. Here comes the hail mary on every pass offense.

Like I said, just feels like one of those days. Had the same feeling. Feels like no matter what the record is, Michigan struggles against Iowa, especially in Iowa City. Even the year they won the title in 1997 I think they were down 21-7 at halftime. Iowa was much better than this Iowa team though of course.

Yup, its not looking good. If the players decertify, there is a 45 day window before decertification where Stern and the Union can still negotiate. The hope is that Stern does not want them to decertify and will give in a little more. If that window passes, you can almost guarantee there will be no season, as the players will sue the league and try to get the court to overturn the lockout (just like the NFL PA tried to do). The thing is, both sides seem to be completely divided, so that's only complicating things more.

That's just bad luck with Bolland being without a stick. If he doesn't lose the stick, the puck is cleared and we head closer to a SO. Instead the game is over. Their last 2 goals allowed have been wide open.
