  1. So he'll be back for the Division Series?
  2. Bill Barnwell's preview has the Bears as one of 8 teams expected to decline this year (the 4 categories of 8 are, Teams expected to compete for worst record, Teams expected to decline, Teams expected to improve, Teams expected to contend) http://grantland.com/the-triangle/nfl-season-predictions-part-2-the-falling-stars/ It does touch upon what could kill the Bears this year, the fact that outside Cutler they were the healthiest unit in football, as no other starter missed a game on offense. The fact that we downgraded the depth at the 3 biggest skill positions, QB, RB, WR is worrisome. If it all works out, we will be great. If Forte goes down for an extended period we will be in trouble.
  3. I heard on the score he is shut down for at least another 10 days.
  4. Need to go 10-13 the rest of the way to finish with under 90 losses. Seems very doable, especially if Rizzo and Castro can make it back in the lineup. I love it.
  5. thanks for the continuous updates on this. appreciate all your work. Can't wait until I can post better numbers to the delight of the board instead of the scorn hah
  6. Maybe we werent supposed to see the full Cubs lineup of awesomeness this year. Maybe it wasnt meant to be
  7. Wtf. Desmond Howard has Michigan 6th in his week 2 power rankings. http://espn.go.com/college-football/powerrankings/_/show/first
  8. Come on, a 3-0 green light for Javy? Dude needs to get on base whenever possible, let him take the walk
  9. Rizzo out again today. Soler in the lineup
  10. This screams Bears signing.
  11. Can we see Soler PH if we can get out of this
  12. Shows you how little they think of him at this stage of his career. We will all laugh about this moment one day
  13. cubs score 5 runs in an inning cutting through the heart of the order and the 2 big time prospects commit all 3 outs
  14. Castro? Baez? Alcantara? Yeah they alright kind of like how Voltrons individual components are alright but together they are awesome
  15. No Soler, Rizzo, Hendricks, Arrieta or Wada today. http://www.thesportsbank.net/core/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/jay-cutler-dont-care.jpg
  16. Dunn on the A's seems like something that should have happened years ago
  17. HAHAHAHAHA. Who had Soler as their pick for best of the first wave? Unless you count Bryant and/or Russell in the first wave then it's TBD. I was always really high on him and didn't understand why people were down on him except of course the injuries.
  18. Soler has decided to pick up the slack and make up for Rizzos production as well as his own while Riz is out of the lineup. Good guy that Jorge.
  19. Soler better be in the lineup Edit: he is! Alcantara CF Baez 2B Castro SS Soler RF Castillo C Valbuena 3B Valaika 1B Szczur LF Wada P
  20. Found it weird that both Frey and Hayden were cut. A bit thin at DB?
  21. That's insane if true. Someone on gateway redbirds was saying (jokingly?) that the presence of ballpark village has somehow made it harder to hit HRs there.
