Bill Barnwell's preview has the Bears as one of 8 teams expected to decline this year (the 4 categories of 8 are, Teams expected to compete for worst record, Teams expected to decline, Teams expected to improve, Teams expected to contend) http://grantland.com/the-triangle/nfl-season-predictions-part-2-the-falling-stars/ It does touch upon what could kill the Bears this year, the fact that outside Cutler they were the healthiest unit in football, as no other starter missed a game on offense. The fact that we downgraded the depth at the 3 biggest skill positions, QB, RB, WR is worrisome. If it all works out, we will be great. If Forte goes down for an extended period we will be in trouble.

Need to go 10-13 the rest of the way to finish with under 90 losses. Seems very doable, especially if Rizzo and Castro can make it back in the lineup. I love it. -

HAHAHAHAHA. Who had Soler as their pick for best of the first wave? Unless you count Bryant and/or Russell in the first wave then it's TBD. I was always really high on him and didn't understand why people were down on him except of course the injuries.

Soler has decided to pick up the slack and make up for Rizzos production as well as his own while Riz is out of the lineup. Good guy that Jorge.

That's insane if true. Someone on gateway redbirds was saying (jokingly?) that the presence of ballpark village has somehow made it harder to hit HRs there.
