    Everton sucks this year. What happened after last year and all the positive offseason momentum? They are a bottom 3 squad if QPR gets a win today. I've heard people suggest Howard has a World Cup hangover but it's not just him.

    More of wanting to see the Nationals advance than the Giants. I don't mind the Giants though... The shitty thing about the Nats getting to the World Series would be that it would leave the Mariners as the only MLB team to not make the World Series since the Cubs last made it, but whatever.

    yeah that was complete [expletive]. the fact that they went out of their way to confirm was just salt in the wound Did they have some angle we didn't see? Seemed like a completion by every angle I saw i dont see how there could be an angle that completely refutes the 4 other angles that saw a secured ball, 2 steps and the ball only coming loose upon hitting the ground out of bounds. If they said the call was upheld, i still wouldnt agree at all but I could at least make some logical argument. They completely screwed UM out of a likely win. Not that it matter but wtf...

    Yup, Michigan now 2-4. Assuming they lose at MSU and OSU, they need to win the rest of their games to even have a shot at a bowl game.

    agreed. I don't know if pulling Zimmerman is the right decision or not, but if the Nats lose this, that is going to be talked about by Nats fans for years

    Whoa we scored 7 in the 2007 series and 8 in the 2008 series. So they beat and tied that in one inning. I always forget that in both game 2s we got a bunch (relative to us) of garbage time runs late in game

    Just a little 8 run inning off mostly the NL MVP and Cy Young winner. Meanwhile I'm not sure if the Cubs scored 8 runs in their last 2 postseason appearances combined.

    Wow. Ratliff got a helluva concussion. 3+ weeks for his 1st one? I know...I'm not going to say its not the right thing to do, but that seems like a while. Hope he's doing ok....
