  1. 3 straight weeks with an opening drive TD allowed
  2. It's so weird how infrequently AFC teams play NFC teams. The last time the Bears played the Broncos at Soldier Field, Cedric Benson was dancing at the LOS and picking up 2 yards per carry while Devin Hester was busy taking 2 kicks to the house
  3. Hell yeah. Not Mariani
  4. Meanwhile conflicting messages on Forte Rapoport also reported Langford was getting the start.
  5. He's missed 5 games already with 3-4 different injuries and played 2 at well less than 100% (GB and last week). I guess it might drive his value down a bit this offseason
  6. Yeah never mind I didn't realize how ugly NDs win was tonight. I'm gonna switch to Clemson, Bama, MSU, OU, ND, Iowa
  7. If these scores hold I'm gonna guess it's Clemson, Alabama, Notre Dame, MSU, OU, Iowa in that order. Iowa doesn't deserve to drop but I think the committee will have a hard time ignoring MSU winning in Ann Arbor and Columbus and OU beating Baylor and TCU in back to back weeks.
  8. Great time for your first regular season Big Ten loss Urban. [expletive] piece of [expletive]. Go Penn State
  9. Can't believe UM will be alive for the B10E on the last day of the season. Sucks that theyd be in the thick of the playoff discussion if they had executed a punt against MSU but oh well. Still an outside shot this year and it's only the beginning
  10. For UM games I think they just decide what goes against Michigan the most.
  11. They're good but still too many questions that need answered to determine how good.
  12. Shitty game so far Xavier's bigs are a tough matchup for UM but still shouldn't get blown out on their home floor
  13. The Soriano trade was for nothing!!
  14. Sounds like, as mentioned earlier, Ozuna might be available because Loria and co are nutjobs http://mlb.nbcsports.com/2015/11/20/marlins-taking-offers-on-marcell-ozuna-because-jeffrey-loria-cant-stand-the-guy/
  15. I cant help but love the Warriors. So flashy and fun to watch.
  16. his best days are likely behind him. dude is like 32 or 33. Just turned 32 but last 3 seasons in WAR are 3.3, 4.0 and 4.4 (BR numbers) But I'm afraid I'm making myself look like I'm on Team Gardner so again I'll say I'm still not a huge fan.
  17. They are probably not that good, but both teams they lost to are tourney quality teams and the Providence game was on the road.
  18. Not a huge Gardner fan but he has had 5 seasons of higher WAR than Starlin's best season. But can he play CF well? Also NYDN reporting is dubious
  19. I feel like if we sign shark it's at the expense of price. I hope if they are going that route they are intending to use the modest savings on our CF
  20. Awesome except for the fact that the only broadcasts on FOX affiliated networks are the Saturday games that are already streamed in market. I thought Comcast would be quicker to do this considering they've had an agreement with the NBA to stream in market for 2 years now.
  21. lol Newport? Theo really slumming it with his bar selection. Does Shark still own that condo on Southport? I think that was right by Newport
  22. I just went to Rich Hill's baseball reference page and I find it odd that he is pictured there with a Nationals cap on despite never playing a regular season game for them. I get that he was in their minors system for the better part of a year between 2014-2015 and probably played in spring training games for them...just odd to see regardless. It'd be like going to Hideo Nomo's page and seeing him with a Cubs cap on. Or Kevin Millar.
  23. It's unbelievable really that the Hawks were able to pluck this kid up. I mean I know he wasn't unknown, so it wasn't like superior scouting or anything. But to keep adding talent like this as the established talent is forced to leave...crazy stuff. Losing Saad and Sharp hurt like hell but replenishing with Panarin and Anisimov (and Dano) is not a bad consolation prize, although I do worry about how we are going to be able to afford Panarin after next year when he is a UFA (right?). Hope we can extend him early at a discount.,
  24. Also I think its funny that Shark has never been part of a winning team other than the 2 months he was on the team in 2008 and the 20 games he was on the team in 2009. Obviously 2010-2013 the Cubs were in rebuilding mode. In 2014 he was on another rebuilding Cubs team to start, got traded to the A's, who actually played worse than the Cubs after the trade, played several games under .500 ball from the moment he was traded on and barely made the playoffs where they lost in the WC game without him appearing. Then he goes to the White Sox who everyone has high expectations for, they fall on their faces while across town his former team is winning 97 games. The guy that wanted so badly to win here never experienced it elsewhere while the team he left headed to the NLCS.
  25. There's enough smoke for a thread I guess [tweet] [/tweet] Edit: before people jump on me potentially I'm not saying that the above tweet constitutes smoke. I just wanted to post this somewhere and don't believe there is an official Shark thread. #teamnomegathreads
