    We had waivers reset weekly based on standings for 10 years, just changed it to rotating waiver priority this year. I think I prefer it this way, although 2 years ago I had a terrible start to the season and was able to use my #1 waiver priority for 3 straight weeks to eventually make the playoffs.

    On a side note, I think even when Forte returns I'm gonna keep Langford stashed on my bench. With Forte over 30 and a UFA, theres a chance Langford is the Bears featured back next year right?

    Considering Jeffery and Langford had great nights and Gould sucked, I'm pretty sure you won, yeah? by 13! Yes, really nice when you come back on MNF - even better when those guys are also leading your real team to victory.

    Todd Gurley is good. Really good. Adrian Peterson good. Gonna be interesting to watch our defense try to stop him.

    I can never root for a better draft pick even if I know it's the best thing long term. I enjoyed this one and really wish we won at least 1 of the Min/Det games if not both. Could you imagine being 5-3, tied with Minnesota for 2nd and a game behind the Packers. PS Jay is bringing it this year.

    So conflicted. I'll almost always take the Bears over fantasy but it's a really close matchup and my opponent has Gould and the Bears suck...

    Yup, this is where the Big 12 canabilizes itself so that no one makes the playoffs, while a 2 loss Michigan team wins the Big Ten and claims the 4th spot :lol:

    This isn't even the 20th worst fantasy moment in my life, but its rants and I feel blindsided because i didnt follow the sunday night game and woke up to this,. Had a 40 point lead through the 3pm games with Alshon and Langford while my opponent had Cassel, Murray, Bryant and Gould. Yahoo had me at 90% chance to win....not bad Cassel will suck like normal, Murray will get his TDs vultured away and I'll probably be down 5-10 points going into MNF. Well those 3 combined for 70 points (projected for 38), so now I'm down 30 points and a 20% chance of winning the week. Grrr...

    OSU still has to play MSU, Michigan and if they win those two, most likely Iowa. I wouldn't say it's a given they finish undefeated.

    I've never heard of a game starting at 5 PM local time. turned in expecting to see the end of the first quarter and instead I saw the last play of regulation.

    I haven't watched the game and only some of the last one but isn't it hard to evaluate his performance when the defense consists of Hammer, Seabrook and a bunch of 6th defensemen

    Was he mentally weak when he pitched a 2 ER complete game in a a 1 game playoff against the Rangers in 2013? Or do we ignore that since it was technically the regular season? How about when he pitched 7 1/3 scoreless innings the last game of the 2014 season to clinch the division for the Tigers? It's not like he hasn't performed well in high pressure situations before, making me think that this is an issue of sample size.

    lol I don't think it will happen but adding 12 WAR to a team that won 97 games while only losing Fowler would be the greatest thing ever.

    why is that your read on this? it's not as if the people saying these things don't know what price's price tag is going to be. Fangraphs crowd sourcing thing had him at 7/190, but with teams like the Giants and Red Sox needing starting pitching, I could see them bidding outside of the Cubs price range. I just think there's a limit the Cubs won't go over. Until it gets to that point the Cubs will be the favorites to sign him.
