  1. I was going to google it to see if this is an expression somewhere but probably not a safe for work search.
  2. Strange but true fact: The Bulls have not started a season 3-0 since 1996 and have only done this twice since 1987 (in 1995 and 1996)
  3. Not as decent 2nd quarter
  4. Absolutely. And Hoiberg's offense seems to favor a lot of 3 point shots (although they only took 17 last night). If those shots are in the flow of the offense then I am fine with it. It's when he does heat checks or dribbles for 5 seconds near the 3 point like then hops back and launches one where I have issues because he's not a good enough shooter to take those shots regularly.
  5. At least he only took 2
  6. I'm guessing Hinrich is active since teams usually dress 12, and the 3 DNP-CD's were Portis, Hinrich and Bairstow. Yes nice balanced effort offensively. Rose was only 8-22 but considering the fact that he probably sees 2 hoops, thats not too bad. I'd like to see him finishing more drives, but I loved seeing him step up and take those mid range shots again. Those will start to fall and will be lethal for him. Also love the fact that Moore and Dougie got solid minutes and both contributed positively. I'm guessing Noah will be out tonight so it will be nice to see what Portis does in his regular season debut. And of course I havent even mentioned Mirotic yet who was solid and was hitting that deep ball, which is extremely positive. Also played unspectacular but solid defense. As long as he does that he's absolutely going to stay in the starting lineup.
  7. I get that it's faster paced and it seems to lead to more goals vs shootouts but I'm not a huge fan No shootouts means I love it. Also, the Hawks should petition the league to play the entire game 3 on 3, because clearly they are awesome at it. Have to wonder though, if Keith was healthy, would he be part of that 1st OT unit with daydream nation? Also, we haven't even seen who the 2nd unit would be: Anisimov, Panarin and Hjammer? Can we do a Kane-Toews-Hossa line for the 1st OT and then Anisimov, Keith and Panarin for the 2nd line? Toews and Hossa are both very good 2 way players, and I think with the frantic back and forth style of 3-on-3 a traditional blue liner is not necessarily required. Of course the current lines seem to be working just fine so maybe no need to fix.
  8. Bulls missed a lot of open shots. They didn't play great either. It looked like the first game of the season for both teams. And one involving teams that has several key players play barely any minutes in the preseason.
  9. Dude is a nut job. I wouldn't take anything he says seriously.
  10. IVE BEEN COACHING BASEBALL FOR 20 YEARS AND MY KIDS ALWAYS SLIDE HEAD FIRST INTO FIRST BASE. I DID STUDIES AND EVERYTHING! Also, I call it uno base
  11. According to BCB, the Cubs/Angels opener has been moved from Tuesday April 5th to Monday April 4th. Woo hoo! http://www.bleedcubbieblue.com/2015/10/27/9620524/cubs-angels-2016-season-opener

  13. I get that it's faster paced and it seems to lead to more goals vs shootouts but I'm not a huge fan
  14. Will the Hawks ever score in regulation again?
  15. Hey now, kyle is an equal opportunity hater. He hates players of all races, genders and religious beliefs.
  16. Eventually this will stop being a thing but hasn't Soler had like 1,200 PA total in the last 5 years? Yes he's 24 but I would think he is still developing as a player.
  17. Yeah I'm going all in on Hoiball until he proves otherwise. We might suck defensively but it will be fun to watch regardless
  18. There are a few teams like that this year. MSU, FSU until this week, Bama (though they have a loss). Weird season overall.
  19. Yeah he looked good. Looking forward to seeing how this new offense looks in real games
  20. Cubs went 9-1 in the regular season against the 2 World Series participants. Ok ok 9-5 total
  21. I got hangovers in my early 20's but only when drinking quite a bit and not drinking any water, they were manageable and the worst ones ended around noon.
  22. that phase 2 2016 season chart and corresponding numbers is all kinds of confused You mean they aren't adding a new outdoor area and bathrooms above CF?
  23. another weakness exposed: hitting line drives right to fielders.
  24. Just a heads up, Coghlan is controlled for one more season. I'd think he could be trade bait maybe. How much does a 2.5 win player go for in his final arb year? Probably too much for someone who will be a bat off the bench. Not saying we'd get a ton for him but financially it makes sense. Fake edit: MLBTR has Coghlan projected to make $3.9m next year
