Absolute poppycock. You really believe this is the best the Cubs can do? I mean... a lot of it is [expletive] luck and poor timing. But I also believe they're putting their heads down when the going's gone tough instead of saying '[expletive] this [expletive], we can do better.' Just look at the Royals this year and last. None of this is quantifiable, but I believe mindset is huge and does make a difference. Not the only thing that matters, mind you, but as bad as we've looked this series, you can't say this is the best we've got. God do you really believe this? Maddon is like the best manager in baseball at making sure the players are in the best mindset possible.
