  1. 1-9 with RISP today, 1-7 yesterday, 1-10 the day before, 0-14 in LA. That's a .075 BA with RISP. To understand how bad that is, Jon Lester has a .084 BA as a Cub
  2. Schwarber is getting so bad that going 0-3 only drops his BA by .003
  3. lol some dude on twitter handwrote this for some reason Edit: Wow what a dumb post for my 70,000th
  4. The Astros scored 40 runs in their last 3 games. The Cubs are at 9 runs scored 5.5 games into their road trip.
  5. Come on Perdomo, you can finish today with an ERA under 5. Just a few more innings...I believe in you!
  6. Not thank you to the next 3 Cubs hitters for failing to get him home. Now 3-37 with RISP this trip, although I believe only 2-13 the last 2 games so we are making progress!
  7. Congrats to Perdomo for lowering his season ERA by 1/3 of a run so far today.
  8. Runner on 3rd, less than 1 out. Time to fail to get the runner home
  9. This guy has a 5.61 ERA through 8 starts so of course we are going to get shut down by him. Schwarber strikes out helplessly...
  10. [tweet] [/tweet]
  11. Can't figure out what has been worse on this trip - the offense or the pitching. The offense has scored 8 runs in 5 games, meanwhile here are the starting pitching lines: 6 IP, 4 ER 5 IP, 5 ER 3.1 IP, 6 ER 5 IP, 5 ER 4.1 IP, 6 ER Overall we've been outscored 29-8 on this trip and the closest loss was by 3 runs. We haven't just been losing, we've gotten absolutely beaten down these last 5 games.
  12. 8 hits in the last 33 Non-Kershaw innings pitched
  13. Bryant should go and probably as a starter
  14. Dex's numbers really took a nosedive after joining the BFIB didn't they?
  15. Definitely a very low BABIP. Not sure how much of that is the shift working well...it seems like almost all of his ground balls go to the right side and a high percentage of his fly balls go to the left side http://i.imgur.com/cXSlBTs.png

  17. New rules are you post whenever you feel like it so...you're up
  18. If it makes anyone feel any better, we had a 25-27 stretch last year. We just happened to go 78-31 in the rest of the games.
  19. people seriously need to stop thinking that is a thing that will ever happen again Sorry I didn't think I needed to announce the sarcasm in the post
  20. 24-20 Well, that's even more depressing. All we need is God Mode Jake and we are solid
  21. Looks like we were 24-20 after losing on Memorial Day 2015. Through 50 games we were 27-23
  22. Cubs are 1-10 with RISP today, making them 1-24 on the road trip. The Cubs have had a baserunner on every inning and have had a RISP in 5 out of the 7 innings
