  1. Hehehehehe. At least they got a world series appearance out of it. Thats more than we got when we stupidly built a team around young pitchers. Haha I'm reading more now. I don't know why it gives me so much joy to watch them be incredulous over their pitcher's injuries. I think its some combo of: -Having experienced this ourselves in the early/mid 2000's, its sort of fun watching some other team's fans deal with it -The fact that they don't seem to get why this is not some sort of terrible fluky thing and why the Cubs starters in comparison have been healthy. Yes both teams have been extremes in opposite directions but its not a complete fluke the Cubs starters have been healthier than average and the Mets more injured than average.
  2. Yeah I could pull up a pair for $60 each after all fees.....hmm
  3. Is there a possibility that Lackey won't start, thus the title change?
  4. the fact that you are now saying that about the Cubs with a serious face is the point of being a fan of shitty sports teams.
  5. horsefeathers, gonna have to worry about the illini again most likely.
  6. Poor Cubs would have had a nice break from the blight of St Louis and Milwaukee but now they will have to wait until Sunday night to escape.
  7. At least they are replaying tomorrow instead of later in the season. I would have cried if we had 3 off days in a 4 day span to start the season.
  8. and off day tomorrow (although i suppose its possible to play this game tomorrow in the event of a rainout)
  9. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/baseball/cubs/ct-cubs-albert-almora-catch-20170404-story.html Is giving your opponent intelligence that lessens your competitive advantage part of playing 'the right way'?
  10. seems dumb if they do. http://www.accuweather.com/en/us/st-louis-mo/63102/hourly-weather-forecast/349084 seems to be a solid window after 3 Plus both teams are off tomorrow and St. Louis doesn't even need to travel.
  11. Yeah I don't think that 58 foot breaking pitch is fooling them Wade
  12. Man our offense has been pretty poopy so far this year
  13. Len and JD have been talking about that and can't figure out where there is a second error. Guessing the scorer doesn't like Javy because he doesn't play the right way and is punishing him.
  14. Similar to last year when Jake could be really sharp early but then his control fails him in the middle innings
  15. Hey guys today is officially Bryzzo day (4.4.17)
  16. Would like it if the Cubs offense didn't wait until the 9th inning to score tonight
  17. Damn I wanted to see Almora tag up on the deep fly ball
